Erotica vs. Adult Romance
I often get asked this question Erotica versus Adult romance. Are there any major differences? In my opinion not really. As a writer is all depends on how I want my readers to view the intimacy between the couple or mΓ©nage. As a reader when I go to the bookstore, it all depends on what I’m in the mood for, what emotions  I want to feel or senses I want tantalized or better yet, on  the type of adventure I’m seeking when I read a novel.
I believe the days of thinking there are major difference between both genres are long gone. E.L James Fifty Shades of Gray and the numerous successful novels published in its wake prove  my point.. Writers are willing to cross the divide that once existed and readers are eager to read something new so they don’t really care if the lines blur. After all many of us read as a form of escapism to indulge secretly in things we dare not voice aloud for fear of being judged by our peers and families.
Long story short, you can have your cake and eat too.
