Trust nobody!
These are the rules of the streets.

His entire life changes when he saves an eight-year-old boy from a violent end.

Christopher Manos is one of the most powerful crime bosses in the country.

Don’t ask anyone to do something you aren’t willing to do yourself.
Secrets can get you killed.
Trust nobody!
These are the rules he lives by.

When his eight-year-old nephew disappears, he never expects the boy’s savior to end up being his own.

A man with a dangerous past and a man with a dangerous future find love amidst murder and mayhem. But with Snow's life being threatened at every turn, will Christopher's best be enough to prevent Snow Falling?

I should have known I wouldn’t get far. Frank grabbed my arm. “He’s not my kid. His pop will very much want to speak with you. Something tells me if you walk out that door, you’ll disappear, and I don’t have time to go lookin’ for you. So, I think you’ll come with us for now.” His firm tone made it clear it wasn’t a question.

When I looked around the police station, I was shocked that no cops were interfering in what was clearly a kidnapping. I shouldn’t have been too surprised. After all, in my book, police didn’t have a very good track record for doing what was right.

“Stranger danger!” I yelled, which just made Simon laugh.

“No, Snow, we aren’t strangers anymore. You come home and my pop will protect you. That’s what he does.”

Who the hell was his pop? Surviving was a lot about picking your battles. Looking around the precinct, it was obvious my choices weren’t going to win out. Frank and his goons weren’t going to let me pass. On the off chance I got away, then I’d have Roy and these guys chasing me.

“I don’t think I have a choice, do I?” Frank shook his head. “Okay then. Onward, my good man!”

If the limo wasn’t a huge giveaway that Simon’s pop was disgustingly rich, the enormous mansion with the iron gate was.  Two large Ms were worked into the iron. The house had a medieval look about it. A fountain of fear was on display in the middle of the circular driveway, some sort of gargoyles spitting water out of their mouths… or was it their eyes?  Gray stone, iron, and darkness made up this house. Whoever this guy was, he wasn’t just rich, he was powerful. Leaning over, I whispered in Simon’s ear, “Is your pop Tony Stark?”

Simon chuckled. “No silly, he’s Christopher Manos.”

Christopher Manos? Oh, son of a bitch. At least Iron Man was on the right side of justice.

“Come on, Snow, you can meet my pop!” Simon grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the limo with all his might. When we came to the stone steps and I looked up, I came face to face with not only the most dangerous man in this city, but the most gorgeous. He was broad, and I could see the muscles in his arms and legs even through his expensive suit. He had midnight black hair and obsidian eyes. There was no doubt he and Simon were related.

“Pop!” Simon ran into his arms. The man didn’t miss a beat. He scooped Simon up without ever taking his eyes off me. “That’s Snow. He saved me.”

“Mr. Manos, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’ll have you know, I didn’t want to come here. I was forced. You have a beautiful home and a great kid and if you just let me go, I’ll happily walk home.”

He stared at me coldly. “You don’t know my home is beautiful, you haven’t seen it. Let’s rectify that. Come in.” He turned and walked inside. The nudge from Frank was likely the only encouragement I’d get.

I hope I don’t die.

What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
It’s funny. I wrote a post I haven’t yet shared and it explains that I decided to write in this genre because it felt like home. I went around to so many places, so many genres and it was in the LGBTQA community I found a home. I choose MM romance/suspense because it was the genre I connected to most.

When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process (outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
Names all the names. From title, to characters, to streets and places. Naming was kids was the best thing ever and when I can write characters and give them names it’s thrilling!

When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
Fantasy hands down. I don’t know I could ever write it but for me it’s the most intriguing. I love the world building and I’m always amazed with the author’s imagination. Trope wise, MMM is my favorite because of the psychology of it. If an author can master it they will win over the crowd.

If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
Oh wow this is a hard question because I’ve read so SO many authors. AJ Rose absolutely. Her brain is beyond fascinating and her books are outstanding. Luna David because we both have the same style and I think we’d mesh really well. There are a million others but I fear I will exclude someone so I will stop there.

Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
I always wanted to write but I was discouraged from teachers and counselors. I convinced myself I wasn’t smart enough to do it. I would make picture books when I was little and narrate them out loud. I dabbled a bit and later wrote fanfic. It wasn’t until I joined this community I decided to embrace my dream and publish.

Author Bio:
Davidson King, always had a hope that someday her daydreams would become real-life stories. As a child, you would often find her in her own world, thinking up the most insane situations. It may have taken her awhile, but she made her dream come true with her first published work, Snow Falling.

When she’s not writing you can find her blogging away on Diverse Reader, her review and promotional site. She managed to wrangle herself a husband who matched her crazy and they hatched three wonderful children.

If you were to ask her what gave her the courage to finally publish, she’d tell you it was her amazing family and friends. Support is vital in all things and when you’re afraid of your dreams, it will be your cheering section that will lift you up.

Review Tour: Jingle Spell by Chris Ethan

Title: Jingle Spell
Author: Chris Ethan
Genre: M/M Romance
Release Date: December 7, 2016
Cover Design: Ethereal Ealain
Summary:
It’s the most horrible time of the year.

Smooches under mistletoes and tacky reindeer decorations.

Newly single, Davey has had enough of wasting his love and having his heart broken. Better to be single, he decides. No more dates. No more falling in love. No more dreaming of happy ever afters.

Those are for movies.

He’s resolute.

And then Avery steps into his life, bringing care, compassion, and tenderness in his path.

Davey’s so tempted to hope again. But can an online date and a brief encounter turn into anything other than an ephemeral sexual encounter?

Is there a future for them? Will Avery stay? And most importantly, can Davey bear to offer up his heart to the season’s love—just one more time?

A sweet romance by Chris Ethan, author of The Guy With The Suitcase.

Just as Davey has decided that love is not worth the heartache, Avery enters his life.  Will an online connection lead to more than just sex or was Davey right about love and heartache?  Will the holiday season bring him a happy heart or is he destined to watch others find happiness?

Jingle Spell is a wonderful and amazing holiday romance that is full of hope and passion.  There is never a shortage of happy romances this time of year so what makes Jingle stand out?  Well, for me its the genuineness of Davey's heartache, the feeling that he is not only the guy next door but he could be you.  We've all felt the loneliness at some point or other so it gives hope to those who have given up on love all while entertaining us with a wonderful story.

Novellas can be tricky little buggers.  Short stories are expected to be short and to the point, novels are in depth and have plenty of time to put the characters through the wringer but novellas are in between and have to find the right balance of quick yet detailed.  The truth is what makes Jingle Spell worth reading is its well written, with lovely characters, and its fun with just the right amount of drama and perfectly paced from beginning to end.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for this author.

RATING:

Author Bio:
Chris Ethan is a book whore. He enjoys selling his feelings for money and other pleasures and is blatantly unashamed to do so for as long as he breathes. Chris Ethan is also a persona for Rhys Ethan, author of fantasy and sci-fi. He uses Chris Ethan to share stories of adult queer romance with those who need it. Before you delve into his books however, be warned. He likes putting his characters through shitstorms and hates anything conventional. But then there's that darned happy-ever-after. Also, he likes swearing. Deal with it!

Evil hides in the inevitable to rectify redemption. Dive into book one of Death by Reaper MC and submit to the sentimental truth that crawling into the darkness might be the only good this world has to offer.

“You’re dead.” The drunk sneers.

The chick squats down and snatches up the half broken bottle. She throws a quick glance over her shoulder, probably to look for an exit strategy. That’s the moment we lock eyes. The corner of her mouth tips up in a smile, as if she fucking sees me. Sliding her eyes slightly down, she eyes the right side of my cut where it states ‘Death By Reaper MC’.

Os slaps the back of his hand against my pecs. “Dude. Are you visible right now? ‘Cause I swear it seems as if she’s looking right at you.”

Normally we keep in the shadows, it’s just easier that way. Like now. I know I’m not visible to humans, but it seems she can see me.

“Now you’ve done it.” Her voice is like a gentle caress when she talks to the drunk. “The reapers are coming for you,” she adds in a fucking sing-song voice.

“What the fuck? She knows what we are?” I growl. “How the hell…”

I don’t get a chance to finish my sentence because the drunk lunges forward. Before I can reach the chick, she sidesteps and kicks him in the back, making him face plant into the pavement.

The chick throws the crushed bottle she’s holding against the wall. “You two can handle this further, right? I have a train to catch.”

What the? “Os, reap the drunk’s soul,” I order before I catch up with the woman who’s hightailing it out of here and heading for the platform.

With her next breath, I’ve got her pinned against the wall with my body, blocking her every exit strategy. My nose trails a path down the curve of her neck. The hoodie she’s wearing over her head falls down, exposing her neck some more. Underneath her skin I can clearly see a vein where her heartbeat picks up speed. My fangs elongate and my mouth waters from her incredible sweet scent as I nuzzle her neck.

I just can’t help myself, it’s like an automatic craving that has been triggered. It seems to be the same way for her because her lower body arches forward in the limited space she has. This chick shivers in my grip and with that releases a turmoil of emotion inside me. Reaching the spot where her neck meets her collarbone, I have no control over what happens next.

Her head tilts, a submissive gesture, as if she’s granting me permission; offering herself to me. A true mate is one in a million, a connection that’s mutual, a pull you will only feel once in your life and know the second it hits. And it’s hitting me now, full force.

This vacation is about moving on, getting past what I can’t have. The saucy little ginger flaunting her perfect curvy body in her next to nothing bikinis can be the distraction I need to forget it all. Will my heart allow this, even when my mind keeps on saying this is a hell of a risk?

Leaning back in her chair; Sasha takes her swimsuit cover off; smirking my way as she lifts her sunglasses to look at me.

“Listen, Jake. I hope you don’t find this too forward and this was the very last thing I had in mind when I came here. But I need fun this holiday season and you look like you could be a hell of a lot of fun. And if I’m not mistaken, you look like you could relax and let loose too.”

Fucking hell, was she about to say what I think was about to come out of her mouth. I’m not a man whore but this woman is something else, in a good way. I only smile at her next words.

“So, by your smile, let’s have some fun together. Ten days here in the Cayman Islands, that is all I can give you. Are you willing to see where tonight can lead and if it leads to your bed,” she wiggles her eye brows at me, “Or mine, are you okay with that? I mean, I sense you've had a constant hard on since I arrived here. I gave you shit for coming to my rescue at the airport but it did mean more than I can say.” She pauses, taking another sip of her beer, “I can be a hard ass. I’m soft, when you get to know me. By the way; you; Mr. Davis, do something to me.” She leans in, giving me a small kiss on my lips then walks to the guest villa, leaving me both hard and breathless.
