Sunday's Safe Word Shelf: Play by Morticia Knight

Role Play #1
Summary:
Some like it rough…

Hollywood photographer, Terry Patterson, loves his job. But when it comes to romance, there is none – at least not anymore. Ever since producer, Phil Watts, abruptly left for a high-paying job in Toronto, Terry’s been determined to move on with his life. After all, they’d barely begun their relationship when everything got derailed. Just because he’s still in love with Phil after three years, shouldn’t it be time for him to finally let go?

Phil has learned the hard way that work and career is one thing, having someone by your side to love and cherish is another. The producing gig in Toronto left him cold and lonely, but a fateful meeting one night at a bar was a game-changer. Now that’s he’s back in town, Phil is ready to take the knowledge he gained while being trained as a lifestyle Master, and is determined to claim his boy.

Something about Phil seems different when Terry reluctantly gives into his pleas for them to meet. Terry isn’t sure whether to believe Phil’s promises that this time Terry’s heart will be safe, but he can’t deny the intensity of the chemistry they still share. When Phil reveals all, Terry is shocked, yet curious. As they discuss whether or not Terry is willing to try a relationship as a sub to Phil’s Dom, one thing in particular piques Terry’s curiosity. Phil mentions role play, and there’s a fantasy Terry has always had, but been way too embarrassed to ever confess.

Will Phil agree to satisfy Terry’s darkest fantasy?

Role Play is Book 1 in the Play Series, however, there is an HEA with no cliffhanger. Phil and Terry’s exploration into their new life together will continue in Book 2, out in the summer of 2016.

**Warning: This story is intended for a mature audience and contains explicit content between consenting adults. There is also rough, fantasy role play that might be upsetting to some readers.**

This novella is approximately 31,200 words and 85 pages with no additional content.

Bondage Play #2
Summary:
Phil needs to show Terry some restraint…

Terry and Phil have begun what promises to be a very satisfying D/s journey together. Their rough role play was a success, and Terry is ready to allow Phil to have more control over him in all ways. But even Masters have doubts, and when things take an unexpected turn in Phil’s film production career, he worries that he’s not properly taking care of his boy. Phil’s mentor assures him that taking charge of Terry and pushing his boy’s boundaries are what’s needed more than money.

Terry craves his Master’s control…

Terry now knows that being submissive answers a need within himself he’d never realized existed. Then Phil takes their scenes to the next level as he introduces Terry to more extreme bondage. But will the return of an old nemesis from Master Gerard’s BDSM gatherings spell real danger to Terry? Right as the Dom and sub decide to play with Master Gerard and his boy, Marco, the danger becomes even more frightening than they all could’ve imagined.

Bondage Play is Book 2 in the Play Series, and is the continuation of Phil and Terry’s D/s journey that began in Role Play. While this could be read as a standalone, it’s best read after the first book. However, Phil and Terry still have their HEA with no cliffhangers!

**Warning: This story is intended for a mature audience and contains explicit content between consenting adults. The characters are a committed, monogamous couple, however, there is a scene of group play.**

This novella is approximately 32,200 words and 88 pages with no additional content.

Role Play #1
As bad as his nerves were, his raging erections leading up to their scene had almost been worse. After one quick sanctioned hand job with Phil watching, Phil had finally put Terry in a cock cage. The light, plastic object of the devil had been locked onto his junk, and truthfully, had been the weirdest experience of his life. I bet I’ll be adding to that list rather often. Since it had aeration and a pee-hole, Phil had said he had to wear it right up until it was time to get ready for their scene.

His fly remained open so that once he’d buttoned up the black silk shirt they’d purchased especially for the night, he could tuck it in smoothly. Phil had also picked him up a leather vest to wear over the otherwise vanilla ensemble. His fingers noticeably trembled and he took in slow, steady breaths, willing himself to calm down.

Phil had removed the cage earlier then left. Terry was supposed to drive himself to Gerard’s, but beyond that, it was all a mystery as to what would actually happen once he got there. The list had included the things that Terry wanted to happen, and a few things he didn’t. Genuine, hospital-worthy injuries were off the table, and either one of them could safeword at any time if the scene got too intense.

Terry glanced at the round mirror over the Art Deco dresser in their bedroom as he ran his fingers through the wavy strands of his hair. It was a good length. Plenty enough to grab hold of and yank. He swallowed, pressing the heel of his hand against his hardening length until it hurt. The last thing he needed was to shoot in his pants before he’d ever even left the house.

A slang soccer term meaning: faked out, deceived, confused your opponent
See examples Daniel Zavaro and Quincy Watson:

Before they know it-- they’ve been Juked.

Author Bio:
Mother, reader, storyteller - ME Carter never set out to write books. But when a friend practically forced a copy of Twilight into her hands, the love of the written word she had lost as a child was rekindled. With a story always rolling around in her head, it should come as no surprise that she finally started putting them on paper. She lives in Texas with her four children, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who sadly was born long after her pen name was created, and will probably need extensive therapy because of it.
