Tangled Roots by Rebekkah Ford
After eighteen-year-old Carrie Jacobson discovers she was a witch in a previous life, she seeks to reawaken that part of her soul. With the help of an eccentric enchantress and a boy who is more than he seems, Carrie succeeds and is spellbound by the memories of her life in Europe during the 1600s as a powerful witch named Isadora. Carrie reverts to her bewitching, more volatile form and sets out to break a curse she cast long ago on her coven.

Carrie’s boyfriend Tree cannot help feeling uneasy about the changes he sees in the woman he loves. When Carrie’s past clashes with the present and dark magic intoxicates her once again, Tree must take drastic matters into his own hands and attempt to save Carrie from herself.

With Tree’s help, will Carrie be able to resist the allure of her new powers? Or will she plunge into the deep end and give into them?

***Note to readers: Tangled Roots can be read as a standalone novel. I wrote it for the fans of the Beyond the Eyes trilogy because a lot of them are fond of Carrie and Tree, who are the two main characters in this tale. Besides, their story adds to the trilogy, where it’ll take you deeper into the rabbit hole. Enjoy!***

The Snow Crystals by Kendra Hale

The lives of best friends and cousins, Aidan and Donald, are largely successful in all but love. A Christmas shopping trip turns awry when a disturbed stalker latches onto them. Will they be able to escape her clutches and find real love, or will a woman with murder on her mind kill them both?

Snow Crystals is a sweet romance with a paranormal touch, which takes the reader along on the trail of a mystery set in one of the most picturesque landscapes in Britain: the Cotswolds. Written in a no-nonsense voice, with beautiful descriptions, an addictive cast of characters and a light hint of thriller, this book would be a perfect trip down memory lane or for those who love stories set in England.

The Ex-Army Wives Bookclub by Marissa Storm
Nicholas comes up behind me. His breath on my neck sending chills through my body, causing my breasts to perk instantly. He gently runs his hands from my shoulders down to my panties, which is all I have left on, kissing my neck as he goes.

He leaves a trail of kisses down my back and on my ass as he guides my panties to the floor. His hands explore familiar territory; as one cups my left breast, massaging it, and tugging lightly on the nipple, the right hand is busy kneading my sex and running his hand back and forth through my folds.

I hear him whisper in my ear, “It’s time we make that baby you’ve wanted, so forget about that pill tonight.”

I don’t bother to go to the bathroom for my birth control. I just enjoy the pleasure of my husband. He gently leads me to the bed. “Can you get on your hands and knees, Baby?”

“Oh yes, anything you want sweetheart.”

Author Bios:
Rebekkah Ford
Rebekkah Ford grew up in a family that dealt with the paranormal. Her parents Charlie and Geri Wilhelm were the directors of the UFO Investigator's League in Fairfield, Ohio. They also investigated ghost hauntings and Bigfoot sightings in addition to extraterrestrial cases. Growing up in this type of environment and having the passion for writing stories is what drove Rebekkah at an early age to write tales dealing with the paranormal world. Her fascination with the unknown is what led her to write the Beyond the Eyes trilogy and Tangled Roots.

Rebekkah resides in rural North Dakota, in a farming community of about 1,800, and loves where she lives. She has an irreverent sense of humor, adores coffee, and yummy food makes her happy. She loves books, history, antiques, animals, connecting with her fans and other authors, and watching her favorite TV shows.

Rene Folsom
Author of contemporary and paranormal, lives in Florida with her husband and three kids. She has officially diagnosed herself with creative ADD and often has a million and one writing projects going at once. In addition to writing, she is also a graphic artist who enjoys creating custom book covers for indie authors. She is definitely an artist at heart and would love nothing more than to be elbow deep in clay during her waking hours.

Rene believes that all fiction is based on some form of reality—otherwise we would never have the inspiration or knowledge to dream up the realistic situations we portray with our words. She is proud to say that her personal experiences have been inspirational, though perhaps not always identical to that of her fictional characters. Where reality and fantasy diverge, however, must remain her little secret…

Shalini Boland
She lives in Dorset, England with her husband and two noisy boys. Before kids, she was signed to Universal Music Publishing as a singer/songwriter, but now she spends her days writing dark adventures (in between doing the school run and hanging out endless baskets of laundry).

K.S. Haigwood
Kristie is currently writing her 8th novel. She lives in Arkansas, US. She is the mother of 2 awesome kids and 2 great dogs. She is happily married to her soulmate who thinks reading is a solid waste of time. Opposites attract. Kristie’s works include Save My Soul, Hell’s Gift, Good Side of Sin, Forbidden Touch, Accepting the Moon, Eternal Island, Eternal Immortality, Eternal Illusion. The Last Assignment, My Sweet Purgatory, Midnight Moonrising & Eternal Innocence are all coming very soon.

Ella Medler
Ella Medler is a U.K. author and free-lance editor. She writes fiction in more than one genre, in a seemingly vain attempt to slow down her overactive brain enough to write non-fiction on subjects she knows a thing or two about. She also does not believe in the starchy use of English, and ignores the type of rule that doesn’t allow for a sentence to be finished in a preposition. Her books are action-driven, and well-developed characters are her forte. Loves: freedom. Hates: her inner censor.

Tiffany Flowers
Tiffany Flowers is a wife and mother of 3 beautiful angels. She lives in a really small town in Alabama. When she started out writing, she was uncertain with where things would lead. But after a year of writing, she is now a published author of TWO fantasy/paranormal stories and is hard at work on yet another that she hopes will be loved as well.

Anne Conley
Anne Conley has written her entire life and has the boxes of angst-filled journals and poetry to prove it. She's been writing for public consumption for the last four years. Currently she is writing three romance series. In Stories of Serendipity, she explores real people living real lives in small town Texas in a contemporary romance setting. In The Four Winds, she chronicles God's four closest archangels, Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael, and Michael, falling in love and becoming human. In Pierce Securities, she gives us Ryan, Evan, Miriam, Zack, Quinten, and Simon. She lives in rural East Texas with her husband and children in her own private oasis, where she prides herself in her complete lack of social skills, choosing instead to live with the people inside her head.

Kendra Hale
For Kendra, who has lived in Canada, the USA and on the European Continent, Great Britain, or the UK, will always be home. Her love for the UK is apparent in The Snow Crystals, and her other/future books, which are all set here. Kendra’s knowledge and life-long interest in the world of antiques, collectibles and such, finds its way into her writing. She writes fiction in different genres.

Julie Elizabeth Powell
She lives in a small town in the south of England. She has a BA (Hons) in Combined Studies (inc: English, History, Media & I.T.) and qualifications in teaching and Information Technology. Writing is her passion.

Sarah Dalton
Sarah grew up in the middle of nowhere in the countryside of Derbyshire and as a result has an over-active imagination.

She has been an avid reader for most of her life, taking inspiration from the stories she read as a child, and the novels she devoured as an adult.

Sarah mainly writes speculative fiction for a Young Adult audience and has had pieces of short fiction published in the Medulla Literary Review, PANK magazine and the British Fantasy Society publication Dark Horizons. She is the author of the popular YA dystopia series The Blemished, Amazon bestselling YA horror series Mary Hades, and YA fantasy series White Hart.

Traci Hayden
A proud mother of four beautiful girls. She is also extremely lucky to be a grandmother to a multi-talented little girl and an adorable baby boy. She has always had a passion for reading, but recently the obsession for writing has taken over. As a Nova Scotian native now living in British Columbia, Traci has traveled across Canada, fueling her imagination from coast to coast. Along with two dogs and two cats, Traci's home is shared with her partner of 18 years. He is her rock and constant support. Traci has currently taken to helping, supporting and promoting other authors. The joy of her trades and the support from her family make her world complete.

Cherime MacFarlane
Although born in New Orleans, Cherime MacFarlane am proud to call myself an Alaskan. I have lived here since 1977. I have seen -40 degrees, hauled water, made bear bacon and I live in a cabin. I have used a fishwheel to catch salmon coming up the Copper River. I was my second husband's chief mechanic's helper and roadie. I have cut firewood on shares. I worked as a cocktail waitress during pipeline days in a small lodge on the Richardson Highway.

My second husband, a Scot from Glasgow, was the love of my life. When I write Scots dialect, I personally experienced hearing it from my in laws. When my husband got on the phone to Scotland, after 5 seconds I could barely understand a word.

We moved to Wasilla to get warm. It barely drops past -25 degrees here in the winter. I became a paralegal and worked for over 26 years for the same firm.

Alaska is my home. I never thought I would love it so much, I never want to leave. The beauty of Alaska is a draw I cannot resist. I love the people and the history. I have been captured by a place I came to under duress. Life does play some interesting tricks on one. My love and I were not apart more than 24 hours for 20 plus years. I never wanted to be anywhere but with him. He was a man to run the river with and was my biggest fan.

Susan Griscom
She writes paranormal and contemporary romance. She's hooked on gritty romances and is a huge fan of superheroes and bad boys confronted with extraordinary forces of nature, powers, and abilities beyond the norm mixed with steamy romance, of course.

She loves those days when she gets to sit around in her sweat pants, doing nothing but writing emotionally charged stories about love and violence and drinking coffee.

She lives in Northern California with her romantic husband and together they have five great superhero kids and eight mini-superhero grand kids, so far.

Marissa Storm
This Author has a few other published books in circulation today:

Storm Warnings, a fiction love story adventure

And What Happens to the Children, a book about the price the children pay when the parents split their lives in half.

I now write under a Pen name for personal reasons.

I love to meet with fans and will be making personal appearances in the near future. From NC, enjoys family and friends and the love of God as well as the blessings He brings.

Release Day Blitz: Breaking China by NJ Cole & RW Pantero

Title: Breaking China
Authors: NJ Cole & RW Pantero
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: September 7, 2015
Summary:
China Perry has one goal, and she will do anything to achieve it, including sell herself into human sex trafficking. She endures countless ruthless masters on her mission, undeterred by the pain and humiliation each of them causes. Determined to let nothing stop her, she’d turned her heart cold, never allowing herself to feel for any of these barbarians who had purchased her. That is, until she meets Master Richard.

Richard Pantero has been searching for something his entire life. Though he has money, servants, and women willing to do anything for him, his life is still empty. He’s lived the lifestyle and hasn’t thought twice about purchasing companionship. Each girl was different, yet the same until China entered his world like a comet changing everything he’d ever believed in.

In a love story for the ages, follow Richard and China on their journey. Can he find the peace he’s been searching for? Can she trust him enough to let down her walls and allow him to help her find what she craves the most? Is love enough?

Publisher’s note: This story is written in first person point of view similar to a screen play alternating between characters to give the authenticity of each character’s feelings. Warning: Intense bondage, aggressive sex, human trafficking.

China:
I'd been purchased. I knew what he expected. He expected me to beg and plead. The others girls were crying. Sobs like, "Please, Master, please don't hurt me," filled the room.

Some slaves were trying to strike bargains. "If I suck you off, then please don't fuck me." I rolled my eyes. Could they really be so stupid as to believe these men would make bargains? They owned the girls now, plain and simple.

I heard footsteps then saw him. He held the key to my crate as well as the keys to my cuffs. I bit back the urge to look up at him and spit in his face or spout "fuck you," both of which I would have done if not in shackles, if not at his mercy. Instead, I chose to say and do nothing.

I gazed into his eyes, and unlike the other Masters who had gotten pissed, he just smirked, and it made me think twice. He was handsome, and had he not just "purchased" me, I might have been attracted to him.

Richard:
My eyes remained locked with hers; no words had been said, but the struggle had begun. I felt a surge of energy wash through me. Could she finally be the one? I continued staring her down; long moments passed before she averted her gaze.

Unshackling her arms, I knew the next round of her training would prove interesting. I had caught a subtle look of desire cross her features. Quick, but unmistakable. I slowly began to disrobe, allowing her to appraise my form as I had done hers. "Kitten, I offer you this chance to freely pay me homage."

China:
He was different, I'd give him that. The others had choked me until I'd opened my mouth, inserted an O-ring gag and proceeded to fuck my face. He was asking me to do it voluntarily.

Pay him homage? Perhaps it would make my life less miserable. I leaned forward, not wanting to pay special attention to his cock, which, from the quick glance I'd given it, was magnificent.

I bent as low as possible and kissed his feet. One soft kiss to the top of each foot. If he thought I was going to speak to him, he was mistaken. I'd been beaten until I couldn't stand, but I was not going to acknowledge another human as my "master."

Richard:
A faint frown covered my face, but my heart soared. Finally, a challenge; a pet whose devotion would have to be earned. Compassion would come in due time, now was time for the stick.

The proprietor offered me a crop, but I waved him off. I preferred my first chastisement to be flesh on flesh. My fingers stroking her hair, the silken strands wrapping around my hand. "Kitten, I see you don't have the proper respect. Right now, you are nothing more than an object to me. In time, this could change, but for now you’re less than nothing." My hand tightened as I lifted her to her feet by her hair.

China:
Oh, here we go again, I thought. I braced myself for his fist to my face. His hand in my hair raising me to my feet then lifting me slightly off of them. My toes skimmed the ground. He seemed just the same as the other masters now. I looked into his eyes. I wouldn't let him beat me to death, though it did have a sense of peace in it. I had too much to live for. I glared at him.

He said I was nothing more than an object to him, and he was nothing more than an asshole to me. I wasn't just a fuckhole. I wouldn't let myself believe that. I would hold onto that little shred of self-respect that I had left.

Richard:
As my fingers traced her cheek, I lowered my head to her neck, inhaling deeply. I could see her trembling flesh. My teeth scraping along her shoulder, I bit down on the nape of her neck holding her in place.

I released her hair, sliding my fingertips down her back. My nails dug into her flesh. Each of my pets had to bear my markings until they earned my collar. She began to squirm under me. The friction of her skin on mine was stimulating.

China:
He wasn't like the others. They had reacted in anger, beating me to get out their frustration, or in the hopes of getting me to become a submissive slut. He held my gaze until he lowered his head to my neck. I thought he was going to kiss me, but he inhaled deeply then, to my surprise, ran his mouth over my neck to my shoulder. I was even more shocked when he bit down. I knew he'd broken the skin. I bit my own tongue to keep from crying out in pain.

His mouth stayed there as his hands ran down my back, scratching my skin. Again, I knew he was marking me, tearing my flesh. I writhed to get away from his strong hands. I refused to give him the satisfaction of me begging him to stop. I knew he wouldn't anyway. Why would I disgrace myself.

He pulled his head back and, I could see my blood on his lower lip. I glared at him.

Richard:
I licked my lips; fury showed in her glare. Such anger was intoxicating; my loins stirred to life. If she were going to be so difficult, she would soon learn the consequences of her continued defiance.

I eased around her back, admiring the long scratches. Now all who looked at her would know she was mine. A crimson drop trickled down her arm. I knew she was in pain, but still she made no sound.

Well, if she wouldn't scream her submission, she would whimper it. I ran my palms over her swaying breasts, cupping them. My thumbs ran circles over her nipples. Her body betrayed her as they stiffened under my touch. The heel of my hand pressed against her belly as it moved down, my thick shaft rubbing along her inner thighs. I licked her ear. "You will give in to me, Kitten."

Genre: M/M Romance
Release Date: July 25, 2015
Publisher: Encompass Ink

***Content Warning:  Explicit sexual content, mild violence 18+***

Summary:
It has been weeks since Curtis first saw the young waiter with the haunted eyes. No matter how often he went to the café to find the right opportunity to introduce himself, that moment simply did not come that quickly.

Joseph was aware of the gentle giant who quietly came to have his lunch and then left day after day. Fearing his father’s wrath and under his ever watchful eyes, he made no moves nor overtures. Until one day when the other man approaches to him…

His colleague Jason spoke highly of the little corner café at the mall. Curtis decided to try the food during his lunch break, since he’d left his sandwiches on the kitchen bench-top at home that morning.      Bugger, he thought sourly, because it was a typically hot Aussie day, and he wasn’t in the mood to walk to the mall. Perth had always been sweltering in the summer, but today, it was humid as well. He hated the thought of sweating and then having visible wet patches painting the fabric under his arms.
He didn’t want to give the impression of being a sweaty, smelly, big bear. Curtis was slightly overweight, and at just over six-feet, it made him feel visible and a little self-conscious in the crowd.
He waved at everyone as he left. At the bank where he worked as a teller in central Perth, he got on well with everyone. His colleagues often teased him about choosing to work longer hours, but he took it on the chin. Of course, they’d tease him because he couldn’t hide his shyness.
Emerging from the building, he felt the scorching heat instantly. He quickly walked, using the shade of other buildings. His wallet was in his pocket, and he carried his Kindle. Curtis was a voracious reader and hooked on the newest thriller/suspense novel by his favorite author, Dorien Grey. He’d left his mobile phone behind, so he wouldn’t be distracted by phone calls.
As it was a Friday, the mall was busy. He looked around curiously before climbing down the stairs to the Asian café in the corner. It was busy and had a long queue. Fuck. I hope I won’t spend my lunch break standing here, he thought irritably.
Waiting at the counter to order his meal, Curtis glanced at a short, slim Asian waiter, taking a steaming hot bowl of some epicurean delight to a lucky customer. He couldn't see the man’s face, but something about his general demeanor caught his attention. He moved deftly through the crowds carrying the bowl to its intended customer. What caught Curtis’s attention was the way he hunched his shoulders as if he didn’t wish to be noticed by anyone. No one that young should walk like the weight of the world rests on his shoulders. Curtis couldn’t take his eyes off the man with the fragile appearance.
“What can I get for you?” the elderly attendant asked, looking directly at Curtis.
“Huh? Oh! I’d like to order a small size of your special fried rice, please,” Curtis said. He paid for it and was given a number to pick up his lunch when it was called. He walked away from the counter, but stood close enough to collect his meal. He waited for a while, but grew tired of standing like a beanpole among those much shorter than him, and looked around for a free table.
He again found himself watching the waiter. This time, he had a better opportunity to look at him, noting the man’s full profile. He had short, dark hair that complemented his pale complexion and the pixie-like, fragile bone structure of his youthful face. Curtis sat down but didn’t open his Kindle. Instead, he watched the waiter, whose face appeared sad and pale, as if he didn’t see much sun, despite the sunny days of summer. Curtis sighed and finally opened his Kindle to read. Immersed in the story, he forgot about his surroundings and got caught up in the adventure. Since he had a thing for wounded male heroes, he could already visualize the character, John, in the story.
Excuse me? Did you order the fried rice?” asked a quiet voice.
Curtis looked up and found the waiter he’d been checking out earlier holding his food. “Oh! Yes, that's what I ordered.” Curtis felt bad for forgetting to pick up his lunch. It was clear the guy was extremely busy. “Sorry, I forgot to come to the counter.”
The man smiled reassuringly at Curtis before he dropped his gaze. “It’s fine.” Then he walked away.
For the first time, Curtis had been able to look directly into his eyes. He had delicately exotic Asian features. His eyes are amazing, nearly black in color, yet lack any sparkle. In fact, they looked haunted. He had a cute little nose and his lips were full, almost pouty. Curtis continued to watch the man who was much shorter compared to Curtis’s big frame. He felt suddenly protective toward him.
By the time Curtis finished his fried rice, his lunch break was nearly over. He wiped his mouth with the tissue and stood up to leave, but couldn't resist the urge to look back at the man one last time.

Chapter One
A month had passed since Curtis first saw the waiter. He wasn’t sure whether he should continue going to the café each day for lunch because he hadn’t found the courage to approach the guy. He was worried people had begun to notice and felt nervous that his behavior was stalkerish. He tried to appear as though he went there for the good food only and not for the man himself. The waiter was certainly cute, but more than that drew Curtis in. The sadness that overlaid the sweetness caught his attention and held it. That was what kept him coming back again and again.
It made his heart heavy to think people might’ve noticed his behavior and think he was creepy. Who wanted to be known as a creepy stalker-bear guy?
He prayed he was being subtle and hoped he wasn’t receiving any speculative looks from anyone.      But he really had to make a decision soon—either strike up a conversation with the guy, or stop coming for lunch and torturing himself.
There he was, wiping a table for a couple of customers. He was wearing the same style of clothes as before. The jeans he wore looked old and frayed, but they hugged his cute little arse as he bent over, took a swipe at the table with a damp rag, and collected the dishes. When he stood up, it was obvious the shirt was as old as the jeans. It was thinned to nearly nothing from frequent laundering. So transparent, it could have been made of gauze—it did nothing to hide the guy’s ribs.
Curtis didn’t even realize he stood stock-still, staring at the man until his eyes caught the old man at the cashier’s desk glaring at him with a clenched jaw. His deep frown made Curtis feel awkward to the point where he felt his cheeks burning. He looked at his phone and checked for messages but still furtively watched the waiter. He saw the expression he’d come to recognize as sadness, but this time, there was more to it. He looked like a man who’d lost all hope. He was also limping and dragged his feet at times.
Is he injured? Why does he look like he’s in despair? Fuck. What’s happening in his life? .....
