Michael ushered Zachary into a private back room, and soon the celebrity was seated on a plush, black sofa with a glass of fine wine in his hand. He respectfully declined any finger food. After some small talk with the clerk about more of what he was looking for, a series of girls were brought out one by one to be displayed for the young star. 1. What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
The biggest interest that brought me into this genre was a bdsm movie called "The Pet." [A young woman in dire financial straights accepts an offer to be a wealthy aristocrat's human "pet" for six months. Then ruthless modern "pet-nappers" kidnap the woman to sell her on the GSM (Global Slave Market) I found this movie lacking some creativity and sex-drive, so I implemented my own ideas into this dystopian theme story, and thus, Caged was born.

2. When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process(outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
When writing a book, my favorite part of the creative process is drafting the outline and coming up with a great plot. Shelling out the story is where I work the best and I'm a very organized person. I like to follow blueprints and use them as a reference.

3. When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
Science Fiction and Fantasy.

4. If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
Stephanie Meyer.

5. Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life?"
It came to me "later in life." I actually want to work with films and television sometime in the future. I figure the best way to break into that field is starting off as a writer.

I can't say that f/f stories are out of my comfort zone because I do enjoy them. To say they are outside of my current norm is probably pretty accurate since I am more drawn to m/m relationships. I would say that D/s books are on the fringe of my comfort zone. I read them, I enjoy them, however I don't really seek them out. Truth be told, I just love a great story with interesting characters, settings that I can see in my mind, and well written, intriguing plots. The sex of the characters in the relationships are not a determining factor when it comes to liking or not liking a book. So as I prepared to write this review, I sat down and wondered would I have the same feelings if it had been a m/m or f/m relationship? Yes, I would. I found this story to be amazing. I eagerly awaited Yes, Mistress because of how much I loved Miss Cole's previous writings. I was not disappointed. The chemistry between Em and Violet didn't just exist in their D/s relationship, it also shined through in their connection as women, friends, and lovers. This author is already on my authors-must-read list but if she wasn't, Yes, Mistress would definitely cement her place on it.

I have to admit that all the characters grabbed hold of my heart so deeply that I wouldn't mind seeing them star in their own stories. Just wanted to throw that out there in case Miss Cole is taking requests for future tales (hint, hint).

Colton let out a strangled yelp, and before I could even pull back, I felt something warm and wet on my blouse. I stood up quickly, but apparently, he wasn’t finished because several more streams of the warm fluid shot into the air. One landed right in the middle of my shirt, and the other fell onto the back of my hand that was still gripping him firmly.

“Motherfucker,” he grunted as the last stream shot from his body.

We meet Oliver and his family and learn how his kind blended in to life on Earth. We also meet Rebecca through Oliver's eyes at first and then through her own point of view. A true read of trust and desire that evolves into love and passion. Even though “trust” is a huge factor in this story, so much so that it could almost be considered a character in itself, we also see friendship, humor, and more importantly how what started out as sex and exhibitionism evolved into passion and love.

You may not want to take this book to the beach with you, as it's hot enough by itself, but you definitely will want to read this incredible journey into the minds of both the Dominant and Submissive of this budding partnership.

Summary:

Additionally, she loves spending time with his family, who have given her the sense of belonging she’s yearned for since her parents’ tragic deaths. She can’t imagine denying Oliver anything, and even asks to undergo the genetic transformation to become one of his species.
Seemingly, all the pieces are in place, paving the way for their perfect life until days before the event when they are given some news that changes everything. Can these two find their happily ever after? Or does fate have other plans?

I went into this story knowing it would be an entertaining read because I've loved every word written by this author, however, I didn't really expect it to surpass Midnight Caller, but it has. In all aspects, character development, emotions explode all over the place, and of course the hotness level has completely blown the thermometer off the wall.  Now I will say that this is not for everyone, it is a Dom/sub story throughout and I know not everyone enjoys or understands the lifestyle. Also, as good as ME is by itself, you really do need to read Midnight Caller first.  Quite frankly, if you haven't read MC yet, what are you waiting for?  Oliver and Bec are definitely worth a look, or two, or three, or . . . well, you get the idea.

     “Yes,” I groaned, my eyes rolling back in my head. “Mmmmm, yes.”
