To date, all I've read from this author is her Mermen of Ea series. Let me tell you, when a story about mermen was recommended to me, I laughed, I scoffed, and I doubted. But I highly respect the ladies who made the recommendation so despite my initial doubts, I started Stealing the Wind. WOW! I was never so happy to be wrong in my life. I completely fell in love with the world of the mermen and am eagerly awaiting book 3.
In her last incarnation, Shira was a professional opera singer, performing roles in such operas as “Tosca,” “Pagliacci,” and “La Traviata,” among others. Her Blue Notes Series is loosely based upon her own experiences as a professional musician.
