Trapped for Thanksgiving by Trina Solet
Summary:
Longing looks, one kiss and one dance are all Snyder and Joel have ever shared, but that's about to change.
As Thanksgiving looms, Snyder is still brooding over a bad ex. He isn't looking forward to the holidays, but Joel is just the man to cheer him up.
The fun, easygoing Joel wants more than to improve Snyder's mood though. They might be opposites, but Joel wants the smart, sexy Snyder for himself even if he is a little too serious.
With the two of them stuck in a mountain cabin alone together, Joel could finally get his chance. If he can draw out the introverted Snyder, it might end up being a happy Thanksgiving just for two.
Thanksgiving, friends, food, and snow: What more could Joel and Snyder ask for? Unexpected time alone perhaps? Mother Nature can be a cruel mistress, trust me I am a born and raised Wisconsinite where we have a possible snow season that is nearly 10 months long and the remaining 2 months are just too hot for any chance of snow so weather can be a huge factor when it comes to arrangements. But, will either of them let their guards down enough to let the other in? For that you'll have to read this gem for yourself.
Trapped for Thanksgiving may be cliche, may be common used plot but that doesn't mean it isn't good. Truth is watching Joel and Snyder navigate the holiday is pretty enjoyable, fun, and all around entertaining. What better opportunity to get to know someone than when you're snowed in with no place to go? There aren't many Thanksgiving stories out there and Trina Solet's are among some of the best I've read and I am already looking forward to seeing what Solet has planned for next year's holiday.
RATING:
A Midnight Thanksgiving by Trina Solet
Summary:
Alex and Vaughn have been frenemies for a while, but they never spent any time alone together. That all changes on Thanksgiving night. When they become concerned about a friend in crisis, Alex and Vaughn are thrown together as they go in search of him.
The guys make an unlikely team. Alex thinks Vaughn is too uptight and would never be interested in a carefree guy like him. Vaughn thinks Alex is irresponsible, but being around him breaks down his resistance. The more time they spend together, the closer they get. By the end of the night, they can't keep their hands off each other. But will they admit how they really feel or will it all be over when their mission ends?
Original Review November 2017:
A Midnight Thanksgiving is not the first Trina Solet story I've read but I don't think it was as good as A Pizza for Thanksgiving or A Christmas Boyfriend but it still was an enjoyable read that I was glad I gave a chance. Alex and Vaughn may not exactly like each other but they put that aside to search for a missing friend on Thanksgiving and in doing so they realize that perhaps they find more than just tolerable company in each other. As I said, A Midnight Thanksgiving is not a great story but I'm glad I read it and it still touches you and warms the heart all while entertaining which makes it all worth it in my opinion.

Pizza for Thanksgiving by Trina Solet
Summary:
Mack and Enzo are roommates and nothing more. While sharing the same apartment, they live separate lives. Enzo is sweet but painfully shy. Mack is gruff and kind of intimidating. He's had a hard life and doesn't let his guard down easily.
Now Mack is anticipating a lonely Thanksgiving dinner, but Enzo won't let that happen. When he hears that Mack is going to be all alone for Thanksgiving, he gets up the courage to make him an offer. But things don't go as planned in more ways than one.
With the best of intentions, Enzo has woken up something in Mack that he might not be ready for. Can Mack stop hiding and holding back? When Enzo asks for too much from him, can he say yes anyway?
Original Review November 2015:
Sometimes opening up and being honest is really the best way to go. Not to mention that sometimes what's right in front of you is the hardest things to see.
