Summary:
Security...
Safety...
Fuck them and leave...
And the most important one...
Don’t give them your heart.

For both Shannon Taylor and Jareth Stein it’s been the same thing. Day after day, year after year.
Shannon Taylor knows all about hurt and betrayal. It’s something she never talks about. Not even her best friend knows.

High school is a very unkind place. Hell the whole childhood thing is Hell. Aren’t fathers supposed to love their children not hurt them?

Jareth Stein knows the secret of life. Leave them before they leave you.

That was the lesson his mother taught him all those years ago when she left him in the hands of his abusive father for another man. Never to be seen again.

In addition to the issues Jareth and Shannon face already; Jareth’s mom comes back with a message:
If you don’t give me what I want I will destroy you and everyone you love; starting with Shannon.

He sits back again and laughs. “I wouldn’t know,” he says, “I’ve only ever used it on you, sweetheart. Besides, it really wasn’t a line it was true. Anyway, judging by your eyes I wouldn’t need any line with you.”
“Really?” I question deciding to play along, “So what would you use?”
He shrugs. “My words,” he answers and leans forward again. “If I wanted to get you into bed all I would need to do is come right out and tell you I was ready to fuck.” He says this in a low and deep voice that has my insides turning to mush and my panties soaked.
“If,” I question breathlessly. I can’t believe I’m still playing this dangerous game because he’s right.
He smirks. “You know I want to fuck you,” he says, “How could you not. You were ogling a hole through my cock only moments ago.”
I huff and cross my arms over my chest. “I was not ogling you cock,” I say although we both know that’s a lie.
He laughs. “Well?” he questions raising a brow.
     Frowning and say, “Well what?”
“Wanna fuck?” he asks his voice dropping even more. I’m shocked into silence as he stands and extends his hand for me to take. “Come on sweetheart. You know you want me to fuck your brains out.”
I swallow, place my hand in his, and he pulls me to my feet. I’m scared to death, but I’ve never wanted anything more than to have this man fuck me senseless. Without a word he turns pulling me out the door behind him.

*****

Going to his younger brother, Gage is out of the question. They may be brothers but Gage is a cop and cops don’t help people like him. However, he needs cash now.
Fate is a cruel bitch.

He thinks he has found his way out with Alicia. He is counting on the fact she still feels something for him. If he can play her, win her heart, he’s a shoe in for the money she’s made writing.
She has to have money, right? All authors rake in the money. He’ll just use the one secret she told him. He will be the man of her dreams. She will never know the truth…

What Rick doesn’t know is that Gage knows all about his plan. Gage will stop at nothing to protect the woman he loves.

She laughs and slides a little closer towards me. I’m hoping that leaving the bike running will work her up more. “I bet,” she says a little breathlessly, “Don’t you ever worry about getting shot? I know I would worry about you.”
I slid my hands down to her hips and around to her thighs. I run my thumbs along the hem of her dress then under. Her hands tighten at the nape of my neck. “Ya, I worry some,” I say with a shrug and lean close to her ear. “I’m glad you would worry about me.” Then I take her ear lobe between my teeth and feel my cock stiffen.
     She gasps. “Gage,” she whispers.
“Yes, Alicia,” I reply kissing her skin just below her ear.
“I think we’ve talked enough,” she informs me.
“I couldn’t agree more,” I groan as I lean back and crush my mouth to hers. I slip my hands under her dress and find no barrier. I pull back and growl, “You’re fucking bare!”
She leans close to my ear. “And I’m fucking wet,” she purrs, “just for you Gage.”
“Fuck Alicia,” I groan, “are you trying to kill me?” I pull the bottom of her dress up around her waist, thrust two fingers inside her, and she stars to ride them. “So fucking wet,” I say against her neck. “I’m so goddamn hard right now I could burst.”

We Are Not Alone
Just then the Earth rocked under our feet and Steve growled and stormed out of the room. What the hell is with him! The earth still shook out of control. Forget Steve, I need to make sure Mandi was ok.
I rushed to the door and opened it and when I did Mandi flew into my arms. I pulled her tight and closed the door. I walked us to the couch and sat down with her as we held each other while the Earth shook.
Damn, that was a long one. It must have lasted 20 minutes. Mandi rose up, with tears running down her face, she whimpers, “Jay I can’t do this. I just can’t.” I pulled her back to me and just held her while she cried, soothing her and trying to assure her everything was going to be alright.
Her sobs slowly vanished but I still held her locked to my body. She slowly raised her face to meet mine and kissed me. I kissed her back glad for the connection and the distraction from the world. She moaned and tried to pull me closer. I pulled back, “Mandi,” I whispered, “We shouldn’t.”
She pulled my head back down and whispered, “Please.” I couldn’t resist, I grounded my mouth to hers and we kissed like there was no tomorrow.
I stood and pulled her to her feet, and with her hand in mine, walked her to the bed. Once there I turned and pulled her in my arms, “Are you sure?” I asked breathlessly.
     “Yes,” She answered.
It was all I needed. I once again crushed her body to mine and took her lips in a mind bending kiss. We fumbled with our clothing and eventually made it into bed. I lay beside her and took her face in my hands and kissed her so sweetly. I caressed her body and loved her fully. When we joined it was like time stood still, nothing matter, nothing but Mandi.
She fell asleep locked in my arms. I smiled, has there ever been a better feeling? I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

I nodded but I was still worried. I held Emma’s hand a little tighter. “You know until I met Mandi I had accepted the fact that I would always be alone. I was never ok with it, but I accepted it. I never had any plans of bring children into a world so full of hate and ugliness, but these last few days have shown me that the world is not ugly, its beauty just needs to be seen.” I took a deep breath. “Mandi has shown me that I can look past all the hate and corruption to see a very beautiful place, a place that I am not afraid to bring children into.” I turned to look at Dad. “I want that family now. I want the love, the children, and I want Mandi. I don’t want to be alone anymore.”

“You know you shouldn’t have done that Julie.” Lucifer said with a sneer. “God will not allow you back now. You have gone against Him. You have interfered with His plan. You have said, with your actions, that He does not know what He is doing.” Lucifer stepped closer to Julie and ran his fingers through her hair. Not once did Julie move. She will not have him see her cower.
“You are wrong.” Julie fumed. “You have always been wrong.” She shook her head. “At one time I believed that there was some good left in you. I was wrong. You are evil. If it is Jay you want then take him. Leave the others alone.” Lucifer leaned in and placed a kiss on Julie’s ear. Julie cringed on the inside.
“I believe I will.” He whispered. “I also believe I will take you as well.”
She turned to look at him. “You may take my body.” She hissed. “But you will never take my soul.” Lucifer let out a menacing laugh and gathered a handful of hair.
He pulled Julie’s head back and leaned down until their lips were touching. “You will give me whatever I demand.” He snarled.
Without flinching Julie said, “Go to Hell!” Lucifer laughed.
“Gladly…” He taunted. “And you will join me.” Lucifer took her mouth with his. This time Julie did fight back yet he was too strong. He allowed her to struggle a while longer then lifted his head.
With a smirk he said, “You are no match for me Julie. Resistance is futile I will have you, if I want you.” Julie spat in his face. Angrily he wiped it away and released her. Julie righted herself and just as Lucifer started to turn away he rounded back on her. He backhanded her across the face and Julie flew through the air.
She landed with a loud thud and touching her cheek she hissed, “You bastard! You will pay for that.” Lucifer laughed.

The Serpent Exposed

Eden Restored

1. What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
There are many, but I will give you two. Stephen King and the fact that there are so many theories out there surrounding Aliens. I wanted to make you think and question the world around you.

2. When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process(outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
Development. I love the way I start out thinking I know how the book will end and have the characters change it on me several times.

3. When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
It's not about the genre for me. I want a book that will draw me in and either make me question things or say hey that's me! or I know someone like that.

4. If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
No question about it! Either Poe or Stephen King.

5. Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
It has always been a dream of mine. At the age of nine I discovered Stephen King and RL Stein books and my love grew. I could be found in my room with a book open, a pen and notebook in hand, and a pen between my toes and another notebook. Yes, I have always been weird.

Rebellion by Angela Fattig

Title: Rebellion
Author: Angela Fattig
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: December 18, 2014

***Note: Formally known as The Incubi Series. This is now a standalone novel***
Summary:
In the time of Adam and Eve there was an Angel named Lucifer. He had deceived God’s newest creation and was banished from Heaven to serve in Hell.
Lucifer created many things himself, just as God had. The one that most terrifies man is the Incubi, a demon that comes down to prey on unsuspecting humans while they sleep.
The Elders were put in charge of the Incubi world. The Elders have strict rules. Go to Earth. Impregnate a woman in order to rule all of Earth, as it was Lucifer’s plan to take control over all that God had created both Heaven and Earth.
Many centuries ago, an Incubus was created. He did not believe in the old ways and fought against them. The Elders had rules for such times if an Incubi refused to do what they were created for.
The Incubi would be banished to Earth to live like all Earth creatures lived, in their form, as Incubi were shape-shifters. There was one rule when banished, the Incubi was forced to live their life alone. They were not allowed to love, marry, or have a family, although for the incubus, he could still impregnate a woman, and the succubus could become pregnant, but if she shifted, that child would be lost.
The day ‘Nate’ was created they say it was the beginning of the rebellion. After he was banished to Earth, many more followed, as they too did not believe in the old ways.
There was just one thing the Incubi Elders failed to think of. The hand of God created Lucifer, the hand of Lucifer created demons. Therefore, the Incubi were the work of God. If given the chance, they would serve God well.
