Cover Reveal: Politically Incorrect by Jeanne McDonald

Title: Politically Incorrect
Author: Jeanne McDonald
Genre: Contemporary Political Romance
Expected Release Date: August 16, 2016
Cover Design: Jada D'Lee Designs

Summary:
Sex. Lies. Greed. Power. Scandal. Politics.

Nothing gets by Elizabeth McNeal. As a forty-five year old divorcee and a nationally renowned political strategist, she can claim to have seen it all. Most of her adult life she’s focused on two important things ─ her daughter and her career. Now, challenged by a new campaign and a new candidate, Elizabeth is forced to reevaluate the things she most values and make some major decisions that could impact her future.

William Baxter is a thirty-four year old Democratic Congressman for the great state of Texas who’s vying for an empty seat in the U.S. Senate. Accustomed to standing out in a crowd, Liam takes pride in being true to himself and the people he serves. He refuses to fall in line with the stereotypical persona of a politician. Backed by one of the richest men in Texas, Liam is offered the chance to work with D.C.’s most elite political strategist. With the odds already against him because of his party affiliation and age, it’s an offer he can’t refuse.

Apprehensive about their age differences and driven by politics, Elizabeth finds herself keeping score of their sensual game for control. For the woman who thought she’d seen it all, the man in the eccentric ties and a dashing smile teaches her a new game to play. Rules are made to be broken. Lines are meant to be crossed. But in the high stakes sport of politics, where one bad decision can destroy a campaign, can they afford to rewrite the rules to meet their desires or will they choose to remain politically incorrect?

The Warrior Prophet by Lisa Voisin

Title: The Warrior Prophet
Author: Lisa Voisin
Series: The Watcher Saga #3
Genre: Young Adult, Urban Fantasy
Release Date: April 13, 2016
Summary:
Mia Crawford is a prophet.

She can see angels. She also sees demons. Everywhere.

The angels are preparing for war to get her fallen angel boyfriend, Michael, back. A war that could take years.

Haunted by visions of Michael’s soul being tortured, Mia can’t rest until she knows he’s safe.

To save him, she must make an impossible journey through Hell with the one person she prayed she’d never see again.

Hands clawed at me as we passed through the blackness. The reek of sulfur and rot made a hot rush of bile rise to my throat. Arielle had said my soul would act as though I had a body, but I had to remind myself again that my actual body was lying in a bed fifty feet below.

We pushed through a thick blanket of black smog and then met a stretchy, membranous substance. Once we pressed our way through, we stepped out onto a huge, empty field. The ground was covered in charred ash. The air itself had to be a thousand degrees, and, if I’d had a body, it would have been incinerated. With stealthy, silent movements, he led me across the field, each step hovering above the ground.

“Welcome to Hell.” His smirk made me want to slap him. “Well, one of the lesser territories.”

“Lesser territories? How many are there?”

“Hundreds, if not more. This one’s a soul wasteland.”

“You think Michael’s here? In a soul wasteland?”

“No, but it’s easy enough to get here. It’s not heavily guarded because there’s nothing to protect.” Cinders rained from a dull charcoal sky choked with clouds, landing in his hair. He brushed them away. “When a soul is all used up, the only thing left is an ashen residue. That’s what’s beneath us. It’s why we’re hovering.”

I covered my nose with my hands to keep out the foul stench. “Oh God.”

“Don’t say that word around here.” He scanned the area and lowered his voice. “You’ll attract attention. Draw your sword.”

“Why?” I reached between my shoulder blades to find my sword hilt. “Won’t it attract attention, too?”

“It’s better to have it handy if you need it. But don’t extend it until I say so, or we’ll draw a crowd.”

I didn’t know what I’d expected Hell to be like, but this barren field wasn’t it. Above us, the clouds undulated in the sky, their tattered, ragged forms joining and separating like a flock of birds. They weren’t clouds at all but flyers. A squadron of them.

“They know we’re here.”

First of all, I wanted to thank you for letting me dream a little… or should I say dream BIG? And then share those dreams with you.

The best thing about writing a dream cast, is that there are no budget limitations. You can also choose actors who may be a little older than the characters they play and turn back time. After all, it’s a dream.

Mia Crawford:
I’d love to see Mia played by a younger Emelia Clarke. She’s a talented actor, who’s beautiful in a really natural way. She also has a deep intelligence in her eyes, befitting of an old soul who also happens to be a prophet.

Michael Fontaine:
I’d love to see a younger Henry Cavill playing Michael. Since we mostly see his past and his torture in The Warrior Prophet, I was thinking of something like this.

Arielle:
Arielle is a kickass angelic warrior who’s also Michael’s sponsor. To play her, I’d pick French actress, Nora Arnezeder.

Zadkiel:
He was an easy choice. He’s a fierce and intense angelic warrior, who takes his duties very seriously. I’d love to see him played by Djimon Hounsou.

Rhys:
This angelic warrior is lean and wiry with red hair and a wry sense of humor. In my dreams, Paul Bettany would bring his larger than life personality to the screen.

Damiel:
Damiel is a complex and tragic character who straddles the line between angel and demon in The Warrior Prophet. In my dreams, he’d be played by a young Johnny Depp.

Raguel:
He’s just so good at being bad. In my dreams, a character this intense and charismatically evil could only be played by Michael Fassbender.

There you have it. My dream cast for The Warrior Prophet. I hope you like it. What do you think? Would you see this movie?

In a new world gone mad, even the good guys are bad. Welcome to the World's End series.

Carlos's POV
"Your first time folding clothes."

I'd been admiring him so much I'd forgotten everything else. His words made me look at my handiwork and my cheeks heated. How did he know it was my first time?

"I-I'm sorry if it's not up to your standard." I felt inadequate and silly that I couldn’t fold my own clothes well.

"You did a good job."

"I did?" Warmth spread across my chest at his approving words.

"Yes, you did. Come here."

I didn't need a second invitation. I hurried to him.

Placing both hands on either side of my face, he stared at me for a minute, the expression in his eyes completely unreadable. Then he jammed his hands into my hair, tugged my head back, and lowered his lips to mine.

I melted against him. In contrast to the hardness of his body, his lips were soft. Full and soft. His tongue explored my mouth. Hungry. Seeking. Savouring. I groaned, grabbing onto his bare back and rubbing my cock against him.

He broke the kiss. Nuzzled my chin, my neck. Bristles scoured my skin. Callused hand wrapped around my dick. I gasped for air, leaked pre-cum like a tap. A thumb swiped and he spread the moisture, using it as lubricant as he jacked me.

Author Bio:
Although I’m new to writing MM Romance, I’ve been a reader and lover of the genre for many years. When I’m not helping other authors promote their works, you might find me in a coffee shop, day dreaming about how the cute couple in the corner fell in love. You can also find me online ogling images of hot men, which I do share btw.
