Summary:
Gaia finally knows who she is and what she’s meant to do. It’s only been a few weeks since the earth element woke in her. Now that she’s embracing her role as Mother Nature, she must journey with her group of power-wielding friends in a race against time to get back home before Azazel reaches them.

With the awakening of a brand new element, her true past with Edan, a dangerous decision that could change the very essence of who she is, and a traitor among her group, the broken road back to Terra will be a test of strength.

After all, even if Gaia doesn’t know it, war is closer than she thinks.

What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
J.K. Rowling! I love the way she built a world that resembled to reality and at the same time so magical. Since then I fell in love with books and their ability to transport us to different lands, to make us feel things we wouldn’t normally feel and experience many lives at the same time.

When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process (outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
I love planning! It makes my day every time I have to create a character or outline a new section of the book. If I had to choose a favorite part, it would be creating the character. It’s like meeting someone for the first time, because even if you’re the one creating them, there’s a point where you stop creating and start learning about them.

When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
Honestly, I’m a sucker for romance. I can read pretty much anything if I know there’s romance… No love triangles and cheating, not a big fan of those.

If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
I would’ve loved to co-write with Lewis Carroll (Absolutely love him). Saying that, I’m co-writing Duality, a NA fantasy series with my one of my best friends and bestselling author, Adriana GonzΓ‘lez MΓ‘rquez.

Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
I always loved writing but I thought I was going to be a producer. It wasn’t until I was 26 that my career switched from filmmaking to books.

Seasons Within by Lele Iturrioz

Title: Seasons Within
Author: Lele Iturrioz
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy
Release Date: December 15, 2016
Publisher: Acorn Publishing

Summary:
Most teenage girls know their name, where they came from, who they are. Not G, a beautiful redhead with unusual markings on her wrist. She gets her name from a silver locket she keeps around her neck, unaware the engraved letter “G” on its front holds the secret to her past.

G’s life before the age of six has been a mystery to her. Each night for the last twelve years she’s been haunted by the same nightmare—a war. Horrendous beasts, warriors able to wield the four elements, and a boy who saves her by means of blue fire taunt her memory. But on her eighteenth birthday, G’s life begins to unravel. When she meets her new Chemistry professor, a man with an uncanny resemblance to the boy who saves her, she knows there must be more to her dreams.

It’s dangerous not knowing who you are, what you’re capable of, and what future awaits you. Especially when the darkness that slaughtered your entire world, just found you.

1. What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
Harry Potter was the catalyst of my love for fantasy.

2. When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process (outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
Planning! I love planning. It makes my day to know I need to write a new character or plan a little more about the world. I have a booklet called Terra’s guidebook (download here for free…)
in that booklet I have all my characters and their stats, the world of Terra, its rules, its past, the cities, the bad guys, the symbols, everything! (Warning, it has spoilers)

3. When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
I’m more intrigued about characters than genre. I can read any genre as long as their characters are beautifully planned. Saying that…I absolutely love romance! Not the insta-love type of romance because one of my favorite things to read is the way a relationship develops. The nerves, the confusion, the flirting, all those things that makes me feel like falling in love again.

4. If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
I’m actually planning to co-author with bestselling author Adriana Gonzalez, she is incredible!! I wish someday to work with my talented friend Priyam and I would also love to co-write with Veronica Roth, she seems like so much fun.

5. Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
Always! Although my specialty is screenwriting, it wasn’t until two years ago when I decided to write a book.
