Monday's Montage Mantelpiece: Love for all Seasons Anthology

Summary:
True love always deserves a happy ending, whatever the season. A charity anthology with all proceeds split between The Matthew Shepard Foundation and The Albert Kennedy Trust.

With characters who find love in a New York park, or on a college campus, in the middle of a snow storm or in the heat of summer, ‘Love for all Seasons’ delivers romance for everyone.

Including stories from five established authors and supporting the work of three authors, new to the world of writing MM romance.

I always find anthologies difficult to review because as much as I want to do a seperate one for each story it just seems impractical to do so this may seem a too brief review for 8 wonderful tales but it's how I'm going to do it.  There is just so much happiness within the pages of Love for all Seasons.  Once I started I couldn't put it down, even though the stories are not connected and are by different authors I found myself so enthralled that I just kept going till I reached the last page.  Whether you like the heat of summer, cold of winter, or the beauty of spring and autumn you will find something to make you smile.  A lovely combination of established authors and first timers, they are all worthy of reading.  There is sweet and tender, sassy and funny, sexy and heartwarming.  It may sound cliche but there really is a story for everyone in Love for All Seasons.  This anthology is like getting the appetizer sampler plate at your favorite restaurant, you know you love some before going in and others you might not have tried on their own but now that you have your appetite for them screams "Yes!" so when they show up on the menu next time you are definitely going to order instead of pass them by.  Love for All Seasons is a winner on all fronts.

RATING:

Brioche For Two by V.L Locey
Seasons of Bryant - Spring

Four Seasons. Two Men. One Love.

For struggling film student Isamu Taylor, life's refrain is about to change from boring documentary about a passionless delivery boy to a blazing and wildly erotic love story.

After spending weeks admiring handsome but older Manhattan executive Brian Gilles while delivering brioche to him in Bryant Park, the man of his lusty dreams has just expressed a desire to get to know Isamu better. A night on the town is just the beginning of a whirlwind romance that will span not only four seasons but countless years.

Amid the beauty and charm of Bryant Park, New York City, two men are about to discover that love knows no age or economic boundaries. This is the first of four short stories in what will be the ‘Tales of Bryant’ collection starring these two amazing men, their one sublime love, and the Park where it all started.

Special Nights by DJ Jamison
Sam's insomnia drives him out of his apartment in the wee hours of the night. He ends up at a diner, where he meets an intriguing waiter named Hunter. As the seasons go by, Sam and Hunter court over BLTs and OJ, slowly falling in love.

Winters Chill by Cathy Brockman
The ice storm of a century hits Missouri.

Winter savvy Lane Jennings is the only one prepared, thanks to a decade in North Dakota. Too shy to approach his drool-worthy neighbor, he’s left fantasizing about him at night. That is until the storm, when a branch breaks free, trapping him beneath. Now it’s up to Lane to save him from his icy peril and care for him throughout the storm.

It was a near death experience for stunned Jeffrey Nichols. Never had he seen anything as beautifully terrifying as the weather and his neighbor. One threatened his life and the other his secret. He wasn’t sure which was more dangerous, but when Lane gives him a warm shelter through the storm, he quickly realizes he will find out.

Can an ice storm thaw two frozen hearts?

Beach Boys by Annabelle Jacobs
Sea, sand, and hopefully sun, are all Russ expects to find on his week away in Cornwall.

With help from Bailey the dog, Russ and Blake discover they might have more in common than they first thought.

EJ SmythEJ Smyth
Hi there! My name is EJ Smyth, I live in Frankfurt, Germany and I’m passionate about romance with other elements mixed in. Paranormal romance, romantic thrillers, gay romance, if it’s got two difficult characters finding each other, I’m on board!

I’m currently working on a series of short stories Keith is Awesome about a young man exploring his sexuality. Not something I’ve ever written before but the research alone was quite a bit of fun. I love to talk to my readers, online and offline, so please feel free to drop me a line!

Chris McHart
I’m a writer of M/M romance and M/M erotic romance from Germany.

I’ve always had stories in my head, but a while ago I allowed them to get out and on paper. Looks like it has been a good decision, although the more stories I write, the more I have in my head. Maybe I’ll have all of them out someday, and there’ll be nothing more to write, but for the next years, I don’t see that coming.

When I’m not writing, I spend time with my family (I have the best husband EVER) and try to keep all my animals happy. I also enjoy gardening and cooking, although I’m still looking for someone to clean up afterwards. And, of course, I love reading, whenever I have a quiet moment.

Writing and reading is my break from everyday stress and I hope you join me!

RJ Scott
RJ’s goal is to write stories with a heart of romance, a troubled road to reach happiness, and most importantly, that hint of a happily ever after.

RJ Scott is the bestselling author of over one hundred romance books. She writes emotional stories of complicated characters, cowboys, millionaire, princes, and the men who get mixed up in their lives. RJ is known for writing books that always end with a happy ever after. She lives just outside London and spends every waking minute she isn’t with family either reading or writing.

The last time she had a week’s break from writing she didn’t like it one little bit, and she has yet to meet a bottle of wine she couldn’t defeat.

Monday's Montage Mantlepiece: Maddy Christmas

Summary:
Christmas a little different than usual: How crazy could we get?

An Anthology about the maddest Christmas Stories four authors could come up with.

Stories Included:
Santa's Naughty Elf by Harper Jewel
Playing Santa in the local department store should be an easy way to make a few extra bucks, shouldn’t it? That’s what Brock Daniels, a victim or corporate downsizing, thought when he took the job at Larson’s. Once he finds out a handsome ginger—his one weakness—will be playing Santa’s elf, easy becomes complicated, even if it’s an enjoyable snag.

When Paul Martens discovers who’ll be playing Santa to his elf, dΓ©jΓ  vu of an unforgettable night that took place almost two years ago comes crashing down on him.

The attraction between Brock and Paul grows to fevered levels while a runaway teen pulls at both men’s heartstrings. Will they be able to put aside their ardent attraction and channel some holiday magic in order to grant everyone’s Christmas wish, or will their stockings be filled with nothing but coal?

Paint Your Balls by Chris McHart
The lives of the heavenly beings that have a one-day-a-year job can become a bit dull. But when Santa’s reindeer fall ill on Christmas Eve, his life becomes anything but, so he reluctantly turns to the Easter Bunny for help.

Bunny harbors a long-time, secret crush on Santa and decides to take advantage of the request for help by offering an exchange. He wants Santa in his bed. Little does he know, Santa has discreetly lusted after him, but the man in red decides to teach the attractive Bunny a lesson he won’t soon forget.

Who will make the next move, and how will both men play the game? Will they be naughty or nice? In the end, could both men finally get what they desire?

Catching Santa Clause in the Act by Meg Bawden
On Christmas Eve, Rowan Wayne has the task of babysitting his nieces. While he’d rather be out partying and having an one night stand with a sexy footballer, his nieces have always come first. What he doesn’t expect is a thief entering his brother’s house. Except the thief claims that he isn’t robbing the house, rather delivering the presents because he’s Santa Claus. Rowan thinks the reasoning is absurd, until he discovers this Santa Claus is a sexy guy from college, Christian Kringle.
Now, he’s not sure what to believe.

The Duke of Dickdom's Desert Sojourn by S.A. Garcia
Porn star Jason Rapier, aka “The Duke of Dickdom,” is suffering a dreadful day. Romantic rejection, deer assault, and career chaos are topped by his Porsche dying in the desert on Christmas Eve. Happily a special present guaranteed to inject the ho-ho-ho back into Jason’s holiday season is a mere service station away.

Munich Germany – Die BΓ€renhΓΆhle (The Bear Cave – a Gay BDSM Club)
Swat!

“Eight, Sir. May I have another, please?”

Swat!

“Nine, Sir. One more makes ten, Sir.”

Master Brock wielded the flogger one more time.

Swat!

“Ten, Sir.”

“You apologize for the sassy back talk, Red, and I might still consider fucking your ass as a reward.”

“Yes, Sir. I’m sorry Pap—I mean, Sir.”

“I caught that slip, Red. You are to address me as Sir, not Papa Bear. We are not in a goddamn fairytale world here. For your repeated lapse—whether intentional or not—you’ll get ten more, but this time I’ll be using a paddle, not the flogger. This studded one looks sturdy enough and should make a nice imprint on that ass of yours. Count them out, Red, nice and loud.”

“Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir.”

Smack! Smack!

“One, two, Sir!”

“Bet your ass is burning hot, isn’t it, Red?”

“Y-yes. The fire the l-last ten lashes s-started is incinerating me f-from the inside out, Sir. I’m r-ready… to explode. I don’t k-know how much… l-longer I can hold off.”

“You’ll hold off or use your safeword, Red. Do you understand?”

The sub’s muffled “yes, Sir” was squeezed through clenched lips.

Eight smacks later, Brock couldn’t help but admire his handy work. Luck had definitely been on his side when he met the gorgeous ginger now cuffed lengthwise, belly down, across the top of the spanking bench in the private room he’d been able to secure at The Bear Cave. Who knew his vacation in Germany would end on such a high?

Sweat dotted his bare chest as well as his face, and his leather pants got tighter by the minute as his cock swelled to epic proportions. It’d been too long since he let his dominant side out to play. Way too long. Seeing as this was his last night here, he planned to go out with a bang. Literally. Ginger’s ass couldn’t be any more tempting and that sweet pucker was fluttering before his eyes, just beckoning him. He’d fuck him blind, then give him some proper aftercare and call it a night.

After he stepped up to the end of the bench, he unzipped his pants, pushed them down to his knees, rolled a condom over his throbbing erection, and lubed up. Red’s legs trembled and twitched within their cuffs, his arms straining and vibrating within their restraints. Using some of the lube on the rubber to slick two fingers, he slid them into Red’s ass and gave them a few twists. Satisfied with his preparations, he lined the bulbous head of his cock up to the hole waiting to be plundered and pushed in slowly.

“Damn you’re tight, Red.”

“Sorry, Sir. It’s been a while for me, Sir.”

“I’ll take my time, Red, and savor every goddamn second. Such a hungry little hole you have. These rosy cheeks of yours make it even better.” Brock pushed in slowly and pulled out almost to the tip before plunging in a little deeper. Reaching down for Red’s dangling cock and balls, he grasped them, stroking and squeezing rather roughly. Within minutes, he was able to glide smoothly in and out of the lubed channel. The familiar tingle in his balls grew steadily until he knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back much longer. The cock in his hand appeared ready to blow as well. “You ready to come for me, Red?”

“Yes, Sir. Please may I come, Sir?”

Ah fuck, he pleads so nicely.

“Now! Come for me now, Red!” he shouted as his cock ruptured, cum filling the condom in hot blasts while the dick he’d been giving one of his best hand jobs burst. Creamy, molten fluid coated his fingers and his palm as Red let loose with a toe-curling groan of completion.

Ninety minutes later after Brock had seen to Red’s aftercare, they shared a sweet kiss and bid each other good night.

Author Bios:
Harper Jewel
Harper Jewel lives in northeast New Jersey with her husband and 17-year-old daughter. She has three cats, enjoys reading, and taking trips to Walt Disney World. With her outgoing personality and vivid imagination, she is able to create characters and plots that are believable as well as memorable.

An avid reader of paranormal and erotic romances, she has always dreamed of becoming an author. The stories all began when she was in grade school and earned her writing honors throughout her school years. Now, she’s finally bringing them to life for others to read.

While working on her writing career, she’s put her college education and background in English and Language Arts to work as an editor, and she’s expanded her skills to include formatting for Smashwords Premium Catalog, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Amazon, & All Romance Ebooks.

Chris McHart
Chris lives in Germany, together with her husband, slave, Dom, partner in crime, and muse (all in one person, not even she's that kinky!). She loves her husband, men in kilts and Scotch Whisky. Her idea of a perfect evening is to curl up with her laptop and write (the other options are not suitable to post them in public).

Meg Bawden
Meg Bawden was born and raised in North Queensland, Australia. She’s loved stories since before she can remember and has always enjoyed creating characters of her own, even if it did begin with drawing faces on toilet rolls and giving them names. Writing has always been a passion of hers and she’s loved the M/M genre since 2004, the first book she read being Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez.

Writing M/M since 2007, Meg has never had the confidence to attempt publishing her own stories, but in 2015, she decided that it was all about to change thanks to the amazing friends she’s made in the M/M genre and their support and encouragement. So watch out, world, Meg Bawden is coming out to have some fun!

SA Garcia
S.A. Garcia can never decide between red or white. Nor can she decide between creating visual art or word art, so over the decades a career in visual design, music journalism, and technical writing blossomed. Ten years of running an indie music magazine certainly provided plenty of wild characters and curious situations for fiction.
Even when traveling to interview bands, writing fiction always percolated in the background, and writing male romantic fiction ruled above all. Reading Gordon Merrick at age nineteen sounded a wonderful wake-up call. There's thirty years of male/male romance hidden away in her notebooks and on the computer. Now it is time to release the stories into the free air.

When not obsessing over different ways to describe romantic encounters, S.A. enjoys cooking for her beloved of twenty-five years; she endures the endless experiments with grace. Gardening, traveling, arguing politics, and teaching the house bunnies new tricks provide more fun. Unfortunately the furry furies refuse to learn how to type.
