Faith spent years trying to ignore the presence of Lieutenant-Colonel Dalkington-Smythe, her husband’s military commander. Finding herself in dire straits after Waterloo, she poses as his widow. She only ever meant it as temporary. To find that John is alive comes as a severe shock, but her feelings for him are as strong as ever. The passion John and Faith discover together is worth fighting for.

Someone is threatening to expose Faith’s deception and destroy John’s fortune and position in society. If they don’t discover the identity of their unknown enemy and thwart the schemes, John and Faith could lose everything—title, fortune and even their lives.

Torn between duty and desire, past and future, the hardest thing Sandra and Jerrod will do is admit their feelings. Or say—goodbye.

Melissa is intrigued by the mystical, handsome man that haunts her by night and tempts her by day. His bizarre tale of Merlin, enchantments, and finding genuine love has her questioning his sanity and her heart.

From the moment Melissa stepped from his dreams and into his arms, Rolf knew she was his destiny. Now, he will not only battle against time and a powerful duke, but defy his king and the gods to save her.

Passion's Choice by Janis Susan Kay
Tourist Elissa McLaughlin falls over the edge of the Hathor chapel reconstruction at Deir el Bahri, but when she lands she finds herself in the time of its construction. It is no time to fall in love…

The Art Gallery by Katie Stephens
When the sole purpose of the company you work for is to send people back in time to fix things, mistakes happen. Kara Brennan’s job is to pursue those mistakes and bring them back to the present before they can do more damage, even if her mark happens to be the dangerous Jack the Ripper. Kara’s lover and fellow teammate sent Jack through the wrong art gallery painting, but now Quinn Markham searches her out for another reason. Another mistake, one that could eliminate his very existence.

Lucas Taylor doesn’t understand why he appears during the American Revolution as a British soldier. Even more disturbing, while attending a celebratory ball in eighteenth century Philadelphia, he recognizes Kara as the young orphan he hasn’t seen in sixteen years—in the twenty-first century. He’s never forgotten her.

Kara identifies her mark, but never expected him to be the boy she knew from the orphanage. Lucas Taylor had been her hero once before. Will her girlhood dreams of the perfect man turn out to be true? Or can Quinn keep Lucas from winning back the only woman he ever loved?

Witch by Elena Kane
When suspicion is everywhere, how can love be found? Especially, when you're the one they seek.

Amanda Mariel
Amanda Mariel dreams of days gone by when life moved at a slower pace. She enjoys taking pen to paper and exploring historical time periods through her imagination and the written word. When she is not writing she can be found reading, crocheting, traveling, practicing her photography skills, or spending time with her family.

Amanda lives along the Lake Huron shoreline in northern Michigan with her husband and two kids. She holds a Master of Liberal Arts Degree with a concentration in literature and has a long-standing love affair with sugary junk food.

Lynne Connolly
Award winning, top selling author Lynne Connolly writes historical romance, paranormal romance and contemporary romance.

She lives in the UK with her family and her Mews, Jack. She also loves travelling, and often incorporates the places she visits into her books.

Tammy Andresen
Tammy Andresen lives with her husband and three children just outside of Boston, Massachussetts. She grew up on the Seacoast of Maine, where she spent countless days dreaming up stories in blueberry fields and among the scrub pines that line the coast. Her mother loved to spin a yarn and Tammy filled many hours listening to her mother retell the classics. It was inevitable that at the age of 18, she headed off to Simmons College, where she studied English literature and education. She never left Massachusetts but some of her heart still resides in Maine and her family visits often.

In addition to this set, Tammy has published two full length novels: Lily in Bloom and Midnight Magic.

Carra Copelin
I write contemporary and historical romances but, unlike so many other authors, I didn’t write from childhood or read long into the night beneath the covers with a flashlight. I found romance novels as an adult. After reading about a million, I discovered numerous people residing in my head, all looking for a way onto the printed page.

I’m a member of Romance Writers of America and Yellow Rose Romance Writers, plus I’m a regular contributor to the blogs, Smart Girls Read Romance and Sweethearts of the West. I’m a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, and The Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

My husband and I live in North Central Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex where we enjoy our family and grandchildren. In addition to writing and researching, I enjoy my Bridge group, crochet, and tracking down our relatives through genealogy.

Karyn Gerrard
Karyn Gerrard, born and raised in the Maritime Provinces of Eastern Canada, now makes her home in a small town in Northwestern Ontario. When she’s not cheering on the Red Sox or travelling in the summer with her teacher husband, she writes, reads romance, and drinks copious amounts of Earl Grey tea.

Even at a young age Karyn’s storytelling skills were apparent, thrilling her fellow Girl Guides with off-the-cuff horror stories around the campfire. A multi-published author, she loves to write sensual historicals, particularly in the Victorian era. She also writes contemporaries. Tortured heroes are an absolute must.

As long as she can avoid being hit by a runaway moose in her wilderness paradise she assumes everything is golden. Karyn’s been happily married for a long time to her own hero. His encouragement and loving support keeps her moving forward.

Meredith Bond
Meredith Bond's books straddle that beautiful line between historical romance and fantasy. An award-winning author, she writes fun traditional Regency romances, medieval Arthurian romances, and Regency romances with a touch of magic. Known for her characters “who slip readily into one’s heart,” Meredith’s heart belongs to her husband and two children.

Aubrey Wynne
Bestselling and award-winning author Aubrey Wynne resides in the Midwest with her husband, dogs, horses, mule and barn cats. She is an elementary teacher by trade, champion of children and animals by conscience, and author by night. Obsessions include history, travel, trailriding and all things Christmas.

Her short stories, Merry Christmas, Henry and Pete's Mighty Purty Privies have won Readers Choice Awards and Dante's Gift received the 2016 Golden Quill, Heart of Excellence, and Aspen Gold award, as well as being a Maggie finalist.

Aubrey’s medieval fantasy series launches in 2017 with Rolf's Quest. Besides the Chicago Christmas novellas, Aubrey will also release "A Vintage Romance" series inspired by tales of her stepfather, who served for the British Air Force in WWII. The stories will be set in the 40s & 50s.

Janis Susan May
Janis Susan May is a seventh-generation Texan and a third-generation wordsmith who writes mysteries as Janis Patterson, romances and other things as Janis Susan May, children’s books as Janis Susan Patterson and scholarly works as J.S.M. Patterson.

Formerly an actress and singer, a talent agent and Supervisor of Accessioning for a bio-genetic DNA testing lab, Janis has also been editor-in-chief of two multi-magazine publishing groups. She founded and was the original editor of The Newsletter of the North Texas Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt, which for the nine years of her reign was the international organization’s only monthly publication. Long interested in Egyptology, she was one of the founders of the North Texas chapter and was the closing speaker for the ARCE International Conference in Boston in 2005.

Janis married for the first time when most of her contemporaries were becoming grandmothers. Her husband, a handsome Navy Captain several years younger than she, even proposed in a moonlit garden in Egypt. Janis and her husband live in Texas with an assortment of rescued furbabies.

Katie Stephens
If you discovered a sealed box with "Katie's memories" scribbled on the side, you'd find a lifetime of partially completed stories, plays and musicals. Katie Stephens has opened that box and writes both non-fiction and fiction, where she happily experiments with all genres. Although her grown children are scattered east and west across the country, she lives solidly in mid-America with two kitties and a husband who keeps asking when she's really going to retire.

Elena Kane
Elena Kane is preschooler teacher who lives in a small town in Ohio. She has three wonderful children who enjoy family movie night, playing board games, and the occasional game of hide-and-go-seek. She loves watching her kids play in the marching band, football in the fall and simply cannot get enough of the lights, decorations, music, and anything else that has to do with the Christmas. She love flowers, the outdoors, and considers flip-flops an absolute must in the summer.

Keep Calm and Eat Chocolate by Michaela Miles

She’s conceited, rude, and completely unaware that in some ways she’s just as broken as he is. But something about her gets under his skin. He takes a chance and shares his secret with her.

Keep Calm and Eat Chocolate:
“I’ll hurt you if you don’t fuck off.”
“Now, now. That’s no way to treat a friend,” he said.
I jumped off the bed and glared up at the towering annoyance poking his head around my doorjamb. “A friend? What makes you think I would ever consider you a friend?”
“I see it worked then,” he said, and nodded towards several scrunched up tissues on the floor.
I pulled my arms across my body and sniffed. “What are you talking about?”
“You’ve been crying.”
“Have not.”
His lips did something that resembled a smile. “Suit yourself. But if you ever get sick of all that bullshit in your head and can trust that I’m not out to get you like you think everyone else is, then you know where I am.” Then he just walked away.
He was really starting to piss me off. What sort of person keeps dropping emotional bombs and skipping out before they explode?

Aubrey Wynne Interview
*What inspired you to start writing?
Hmmm. I wrote a speech about my grandfather, my hero, in sixth grade. I went to state competition with it. I didn’t pick up a pen again until I saw a movie that sparked an idea. I was watching The Man In The Iron Mask and knew I had to write about those musketeers. I never looked back. It’s in my blood. My mother is an award-winning journalist and retired editor. I dragged the woman out of retirement to help me achieve this dream.

*What appeals to you most about historical romance?
I love that romance is timeless. I’m also a history geek and a teacher. I can give a little history lesson and provide great entertainment through historical romance. What’s better than that?

*How do you come up with story ideas?
It varies. Magnificent Valor came from the movie “The Man In The Iron Mask.” Merry Christmas, Henry started with a museum visit. A lonely man stood looking at a painting and my sister and I made up his life. Rolf’s Quest began as a story contest based on a song. I had Barry Manilow’s Could It Be Magic playing in the car and this scene came to me. Another started with a writing prompt. My sister has also some wicked dreams that have inspired me.

*How do you balance all that you do?
I don’t. My husband keeps me balanced. I teach during the day, write and edit at night and on the weekends. When I get too obsessed, Danny takes me by the hand and pulls me away from the laptop. God bless that man. He keeps me sane.

*What do you do when you are not working or writing?
I have a free lance editing business and found I really enjoy helping others shape their stories. It must be the teacher in me. But for relaxation, we trail ride and camp with our horses. Galloping across a meadow on a sunny day or taking a steep hill on the back of my trusted Jack are some of my favorite moments. My family also loves to travel around the country and abroad. I’m not home much in the summer.

Meredith also teaches writing and publishing at her local community college. If you want a taste of her class in book form, Chapter One is available at your favorite e-retailer.

Aubrey Wynne
Aubrey Wynne’s first love is historical romance. Her current story, Rolf’s Quest, is set in the chivalrous 12th century court of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitane. Though she is an avid reader of historical fiction, her own works usually involve some level of fantasy.
Aubrey resides in the Midwest with her husband, dogs, horses, mule and barn cats. She is an elementary teacher by trade, champion of children and animals by conscience, and author by night. Obsessions include history, travel, trail riding and all things Christmas. She is a proud member of the Coffee Talk Writers. Her debut story, Merry Christmas, Henry, was published in November 2013 by Melange Books, LLC and received Best Short Romance in the Editors and Predators Reader’s Choice of 2013. Her humorous shorts, Pete’s Mighty Purty Privies (Goodreads Top 100 Laugh Out Loud List) and To Cast A ClichΓ© are published with AlfieFiction.com.

Valerie Twombly
As a child, Valerie would often get into trouble for peeking at her mother’s favorite TV show, Dark Shadows. She can still hear her mother saying “It will give you nightmares.” She was right of course, but that did not stop Valerie from watching. As an adult, her love of the fanged creatures never waned. She would watch any vampire movie she could find.

Being a true romantic, Valerie was thrilled when she discovered the genre of paranormal romance. Her first read was one of Lara Adrian’s, Midnight Breed Series and from there she was hooked.

Today, Valerie has decided to take her darker, sensual side and put it to paper. When she is not busy creating a world full of steamy, hot men and strong, seductive women, she juggles her time between a full-time job, hubby and her two German shepherd dogs, in Northern IL.

Valerie is a member of Romance Writers of America and Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal Romance Writers.

Kris Calvert
Kris Calvert is a former copywriter and PR mercenary who after some coaxing, began writing romance novels. She loves alliteration, pearls and post-it notes. She's married to the man of her dreams and lives in Lexington, Kentucky. She's Momma to two kids, now in college - one at the University of Kentucky, and one at New York University -Tisch. She is also responsible for one very needy dog. When she's not writing, she's baking cupcakes.

Katie Stephens
If you discovered a sealed box with “Katie’s memories” scribbled on the side, you’d find a lifetime of partially completed stories, plays and musicals. A retired music teacher and curriculum writer, Katie Stephens has opened that box and switched her need to create from music to literature. She writes both non-fiction and fiction, where she happily experiments with all genres.
When her muse takes a break, Katie is a staff reader for freeze frame fiction and a grant writer for the Empire & Great Jones Creative Arts Foundation. Although her grown children are scattered east and west across the country, she lives solidly in mid-America with three kitties and a husband who keeps asking when she’s really going to retire.

Nessie Strange
Nessie is a Massachusetts native and mother of two who has dabbled in everything from abstract painting to freelance sports reporting. She also loves a good story, whether it’s reading or writing one. Living Dead Girl and Reaper Madness, the first two novels in her urban fantasy Living Dead World series, were published by Etopia press in 2014.

Kishan Paul
From daring escapes by tough women to chivalrous men swooping in to save the day, the creativity switch to Kishan Paul’s brain is always in the ‘on’ position. If daydreaming stories were a college course, Kish would graduate with honors.

Mother of two beautiful children, she has been married to her best friend for over 16 years. With the help of supportive family and friends, she balances her family, a thriving counseling practice, and writing without sinking into insanity.

Isabella Harper
Isabella Harper has been putting her imagination to good use since she was a child. Throughout school, she would get caught reading or creating a story of her own instead of doing whatever it was that she was supposed to.
For now, she is fulfilling her life with her husband and being a stay at home to her two young children, at home in Texas.  When she’s not working on obtaining fitness certifications, writing a new contemporary Southern romance, or spending time with family, she’s probably enjoying a weekend in the countryside.
