I just want to say that time and circumstance only allowed me the chance to read 3 of the stories in this anthology but I can honestly say if the rest are only half as good(and I'm sure they are more than that because the whole anthology is filled with pretty awesome authors) as these three then I know I'll love them all.  Just when time will let me get to them all I can't say but I look forward to discovering each and every one of them.

Single Dad Christmas by RJ Scott
What a lovely holiday gem, you've got two men who haven't spoken about their feelings, most likely hoping the other speaks first, lack of communication can be tricky to pull off but when done right it's one of my favorite tropes.  I've always said there is nothing sexier than a man who cares for children and in Single Dad Christmas you have a father AND a manny(male nanny for any newbies out there😉) so it's two-for-one in the sexy male role.  You know what?  That's all I'm going to say because this is a holiday novella you need to experience for yourself to fully appreciate how it warms the heart and puts a smile on your face and for those familiar with RJ Scott's Single Dad series, it's a great addition to said series.  Short, sweet, fun, and simply put: a delight.

Dressed In Holiday Style by VL Locey
OMG!  Dressed in Holiday Style is so fun!  If this was a full length novel or even a full-on novella it would be the perfect rom-com.  As it's more of a long short story or short novella, it may not be full on romantic comedy tag but it's probably the most fun I've had in my holiday reading 2020.  The comedic snowball "fight" to the police-ordered cup of coffee . . . well it's just fun, frankly I can't think of a better word than good old fashioned "F-U-N!"

Homestead for the Holidays by Alex Jane
I've only read one of Alex Jane's Homestead Universe and it wasn't a contemporary setting but I can't help but think this is a perfect holiday addition to that world.  Being "stuck" together with your longtime crush has mixture of pure joy and hell written all over it, depending on the crush's feelings back.  I don't think I'll say any more but I know you'll enjoy it and if you're like me and reasonably new or completely new to the author's Homestead Universe I think this will be a great introduction, a great "teaser" to that world.

RATING:

Single Dad Christmas by RJ Scott
It would be a Christmas miracle if he loved me back.

Hiring Paul is the best thing I’ve done for my small family. With love, care, and ruthless organizational skills Paul has taken care of my children, Anna, AJ, and Aden, with me as part of the deal. He always told me he’d only stay two years and that he wanted to travel the world, but it didn’t stop me falling in love with him. I never told him, because who am I to steal his dreams? Now he’s handed his resignation to me so I have a decision to make. He’s leaving us and I can either tell him I love him and ask him to stay, or watch him go.

I have only one Christmas to make things right.

A short story based in the Single Dads ‘verse.

⁣⁣⁣
Must Be Santa by Annabeth Albert
Tis the season for Operation Christmas Papa!

Teddy and Nick from Better Not Pout are enjoying their lives together as a committed couple. They’ve got jobs they love, a cozy little house, and even a cat. But are they ready to open their hearts and home to a new adventure? It may take a little extra holiday magic to make all their wishes come true.

Must Be Santa is a brand-new 13,000 word short story containing two orphans in need of a home and two prospective dads, plus lots of seasonal fun, low-angst sweet feels, a dash of heat, and a guaranteed happy ending.

⁣⁣⁣
The First Snow of Winter by Joanna Chambers
Christmas Eve, 1814: a maimed war hero and the childhood friend he almost kissed five years earlier are trapped together by the first snow of winter.

Captain Sam Alderton returns to England from the continent with his life in tatters. Maimed and directionless, the last thing he wants to do is spend Christmas with his family and their close friends, the Huxleys— especially Jasper Huxley, who he almost kissed five years before.

Sam plans to avoid the festivities, but when the first snow of winter arrives, and he and Jasper are trapped alone together at Alderton Hall, they find themselves revisiting old traditions and painful memories together— and discovering that things may not have been quite as either of them thought five years earlier.

⁣⁣⁣
Twelve Days of UPS by Eli Easton
What happens when your Secret Santa is less intriguing than the delivery man who brings the gifts?

When Paul begins receiving package after package of gifts at Christmas time, it takes him a while to figure out his secret Santa is doing the Twelve Days of Christmas. It takes him less time to get friendly with hunky UPS guy who delivers said packages. The game intrigues Paul, then worries him. Who is sending all the gifts? What do they expect from him? And what if he falls for someone else in the meantime? Because Dan, the UPS guy, is gorgeous and sweet, and he just might be what Paul really wants for Christmas.

⁣⁣⁣
Sometimes, Always by Suki Fleet
Echo wants to make Christmas extra special for Peri. Last year, Peri was in pain and in hospital after saving Echo’s life. This year, Peri deserves a Christmas Eve he’ll never forget. But when Echo’s surprise for Peri goes a little sideways, it turns into a night they’ll both remember for the best reasons. A night they’ll remember for always.

Sometimes There's Stars short story.

Out For The Holidays by Lane Hayes
Good Things Happen When You’re Out for the Holidays!

A Dream Come True…

Derek - This is it! I’m finally opening my own bistro. I’ve spent the last two years getting ready for this moment. I can’t decide if the holidays are the perfect time to begin a new venture, but I’m excited. It would be nice if my family were on board too.

Gabe - I play water polo. I don’t know anything about the restaurant business, but I want to make sure Derek’s grand opening goes according to plan. I’ll rally our friends, send out invites, and yeah… I’ll even deal with his mother. He’s my number one person, and I’ll do whatever it takes to be sure we’re out for the holidays.

Out for the Holidays is a low-angst MM romance featuring Derek and Gabe from Out in the Deep… and a host of friends from the other Out in College books!

⁣⁣⁣
Driving Home For Christmas by Annabelle Jacobs
A road trip, snow storm, and only one big bed at the Inn…

Stranded at the motorway services wasn’t how Jared planned to start his Christmas holidays, but then neither was running into his ex-best mate Tom. They’d gone four months without talking, what was a three hour trip home?
⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Homestead for the Holidays by Alex Jane
Spending the holidays with his college roommate beats spending Christmas alone. Except the snowy Nebraskan landscape and the old house they find themselves alone in, is more romantic than Jace can handle. Especially as he's been in love with CJ from the day he met him. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if CJ felt the same way. But that would be one hell of a coincidence.

A contemporary addition to the Homestead Universe.

⁣⁣⁣
A Santa for Trin by Amber Kell
Everyone needs a bit of Christmas magic.

Dare’s brilliant idea to get a Santa for the Moon Pack runs up against Anthony’s dislike of stories that encourage trespassing, even if it is to leave gifts.

⁣⁣⁣
No Place Like Home by Garrett Leigh
As long as they’re together, love always wins

Ash and Pete have made it home from the trip of a lifetime. Recovering from surgery has taking its toll on Ash, but with the magic of Christmas in the air, and his love and desire for Pete stronger than ever, it doesn’t matter where they call home, as long as they’re together, love always wins.

Taken from my Roads series. Set after the end of the third and final novel in the series, Circle. Preceded by Slide, and Rare. Secondary characters can also be found in Only Love.

⁣⁣⁣
Dressed In Holiday Style by V.L. Locey
Jakob French is so not feeling the reason for the season. He’s stressed out, hemmed in, and has only a few hours left to finish his window dressing before the world’s most famous parade welcomes Christmas, and the world, to New York City. On top of all that he’s sure that the window dresser across the street has stolen his theme! With a head full of steam and a holly-jolly bonnet on his head, Jakob storms off to face down the purloiner of ideas and give him what for.

Once he lays eyes on Chet Wallace some of his ire fizzles out as admiration for his foe’s handsome face and rangy physique takes over. Some, but not all. The night then devolves into a holiday free-for-all that includes a snowy war, discomfited police officers, and a mad rush to dress a window before Santa arrives in the Big Apple. Can the spirit of Christmas save this budding love affair?

⁣⁣⁣
Five Gold Blings by Clare London
Where Christmas sparkle leads two lonely hearts.

Gray isn’t enjoying December. The weather’s grim, his job’s a struggle, and his useless boyfriend dumped him months ago. He’s a walking Mr Christmas Grump. And then he delivers a parcel to Alec, a bright, sparkly, over-earnest vlogger who’s going through his own hard times. Over the course of five days, accompanied by an irritating but relentlessly cheerful pop song, Gray and Alec share secrets, kisses, regrets, triumphs, some truly awful fashion— and maybe a love that will last far beyond the new year.

⁣⁣⁣
Sojourn For Christmas by Posy Roberts
This year, a place to stay is the best Christmas gift Sawyer could ask for.

Christmas should be a time spent with family, but after getting outed, Sawyer is disinvited from his close-knit family’s celebrations. Instead of going home for his holiday break, he has to find a place to stay. The college dorm will shut down, no friends can help, so now what?

When the guy he dog walks for learns of his plight, Gregg invites Sawyer to sojourn with him. Somehow Sawyer has to ignore his crush on Gregg and not flirt while living in such close quarters. Thankfully, he has the dog to confide in, and Murphy is a great listener.

But when Gregg sends mixed signals, will Sawyer know how to read them?

Linked to the Nutgrove Series.

The Gift of Forever by Felice Stevens
What do you get the man who has everything?

For Torre Rossi, family is everything and he loves celebrating the Christmas season. It’s even more special now that he’s living with his boyfriend Frisco. The only problem? Torre has no idea what to get him for their first Christmas celebration and not even Frisco’s best friend can give him any ideas.

Frisco isn’t into all the Christmas hype— he’s never bothered to celebrate and doesn’t understand all these silly family traditions like trimming the tree and decorating. But when Torre’s little niece comes to spend the day and his apartment is filled with the sound of laughter and the smell of baking cookies, the idea of Christmas and family doesn’t seem so silly any more.

Frisco’s idea of a present for Torre is so outrageous, there’s no way he can pull it off.

Or can he?

With Frisco’s fractured past, what Torre really wants isn’t in the cards.

Or is it?

Two very different men discover the magic of the holiday isn’t in the past. It’s the present. The future. Together.

Forever.

An Unworthy Gift by AE Via
What do the lonely do at Christmas?

Spencer Underwood would rather celebrate National Bird Day than Christmas, or any holiday that centers around love and family. Three years ago, Spencer’s entire world came to a screeching halt after the sudden death of his parents, and with their passing went his joy for the holiday season. So, now it’s just him, his memories, and his Grinches Only Facebook group.

Spencer’s doing a poor job of hiding his loneliness, and the sweet— albeit brief— encounter with a pushy jewelry salesman in the mall reminds him exactly why he hates this time of year.

Coleman Burbank the Sixth is the artistic genius behind the billion-dollar jewelry empire his family built and owns. As the younger sibling, he had been content with his older brother being CEO while he designed beautiful jewelry in his secluded New York loft.

However, when Cole’s big brother passes, he realizes he has no idea what he’s doing being in charge, and he’s more than terrified. This time of year is always the roughest on their family, and Cole was looking forward to when it would all simply be over. Especially since the sexy customer with the sad eyes he’d asked out earlier had turned him down cold.

When Cole’s best friend takes him to a gentlemen’s lounge to boost his mood, he’s stunned when none other than Spencer approaches their table to wait on them. Cole didn’t think it was possible to find a man who could understand his loss or his disdain for the season, but the more he learns of the heartbroken man servicing him, the more he wants to take it all away… for both of them.

Because no one should be alone this time of year.

RJ Scott
RJ Scott is a USA TODAY bestselling author of over 140 romance and suspense novels. From bodyguards to hockey stars, princes to millionaires, cowboys to military heroes to every-day heroes, she believes that love is love and every man deserves a happy ending.

Annabeth Albert
Annabeth Albert grew up sneaking romance novels under the bed covers. Now, she devours all subgenres of romance out in the open--no flashlights required! When she's not adding to her keeper shelf, she's a multi-published Pacific Northwest romance writer.

Emotionally complex, sexy, and funny stories are her favorites both to read and to write. Annabeth loves finding happy endings for a variety of pairings and is a passionate gay rights supporter. In between searching out dark heroes to redeem, she works a rewarding day job and wrangles two children.

Joanna Chambers
Joanna Chambers always wanted to write. She spent over 20 years staring at blank sheets of paper and despairing of ever writing a single word. In between staring at blank sheets of paper, she studied law, met her husband and had two children. Whilst nursing her first child, she rediscovered her love of romance and found her muse. Joanna lives in Scotland with her family and finds time to write by eschewing sleep and popular culture.

Eli Easton
Having been, at various times and under different names, a minister’s daughter, a computer programmer, a game designer, the author of paranormal mysteries, a fan fiction writer, and organic farmer, Eli has been a m/m romance author since 2013. She has over 30 books published.

Eli has loved romance since her teens and she particular admires writers who can combine literary merit, genuine humor, melting hotness, and eye-dabbing sweetness into one story. She promises to strive to achieve most of that most of the time. She currently lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, bulldogs, cows, a cat, and lots of groundhogs.

In romance, Eli is best known for her Christmas stories because she’s a total Christmas sap. These include “Blame it on the Mistletoe”, “Unwrapping Hank” and “Merry Christmas, Mr. Miggles”. Her “Howl at the Moon” series of paranormal romances featuring the town of Mad Creek and its dog shifters has been popular with readers. And her series of Amish-themed romances, Men of Lancaster County, has won genre awards.

Suki Fleet
Award Winning Author. Prolific Reader (though less prolific than they’d like). Lover of angst, romance and unexpected love stories.

Suki Fleet’s first novel This is Not a Love Story won Best Gay Debut in the 2014 Rainbow Awards, and was a finalist in the 2015 Lambda Awards. Foxes won Best Gay Young Adult story in the 2016 Rainbow Awards.

Lane Hayes
Lane Hayes is grateful to finally be doing what she loves best. Writing full-time! It’s no secret Lane loves a good romance novel. An avid reader from an early age, she has always been drawn to well-told love story with beautifully written characters. These days she prefers the leading roles to both be men. Lane discovered the M/M genre a few years ago and was instantly hooked. Her debut novel was a 2013 Rainbow Award finalist and subsequent books have received Honorable Mentions, and were winners in the 2016 Rainbow Awards. She loves red wine, chocolate and travel (in no particular order). Lane lives in Southern California with her amazing husband in an almost empty nest.

⁣⁣⁣Annabelle Jacobs
Annabelle Jacobs lives in the South West of England with three rowdy children, and two cats. An avid reader of fantasy herself for many years, Annabelle now spends her days writing her own stories. They're usually either fantasy or paranormal fiction, because she loves building worlds filled with magical creatures, and creating stories full of action and adventure. Her characters may have a tough time of it—fighting enemies and adversity—but they always find love in the end.

Alex Jane
After spending far too long creating stories in her head, Alex finally plucked up the courage to write them down and realized it was quite fun seeing them on the page after all.

Free from aspirations of literary greatness, Alex simply hopes to entertain by spinning a good yarn of love and life, wrapped up with a happy ending. Although, if her characters have to go through Hell to get there, she’s a-okay with that.

With only a dysfunctional taste in music and a one-eyed dog to otherwise fill her days, Alex writes and walks on the South Coast of England—even when her heart and spellcheck are in New York.

Amber Kell
Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.

When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life, he told her to go have fun.
During those seconds she isn't writing, she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let her drag them to foreign lands to gather inspiration. Her youngest confided in her that he wants to write because he longs for a website and an author name—two things apparently necessary to be a proper writer.

Despite her husband's insistence she doesn't drink enough to be a true literary genius, she continues to spin stories of people falling happily in love and staying that way.

She is thwarted during the day by a traffic jam of cats on the stairway and a puppy who insists on walks, but she bravely perseveres.

VL Locey
USA Today Bestselling Author V.L. Locey – Penning LGBT hockey romance that skates into sinful pleasures.

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, Torchwood and Dr. Who, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a pair of geese, far too many chickens, and two steers.

When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in one hand and a steamy romance novel in the other.
⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣Clare London
Clare London took her pen name from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fueled family home, she juggles her writing with her other day job as an accountant.

She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with award-winning novels and short stories published both online and in print. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic, and sexy characters.

Posy Roberts
Posy Roberts started reading romance when she was young, sneaking peeks at adult books long before she should’ve. Textbooks eventually replaced the novels, and she somehow existed without reading for fun. When she finally picked up a romance years later, it was like slipping on a soft hoodie . . . that didn’t quite fit right. She wanted something more.

She wanted to read about men falling in love with each other. She wanted to explore beyond the happily ever after and watch characters navigate the unpredictability of life and create a happy home. So Posy sat down at her keyboard to write the books she wanted to read.

Her stories have been USA Today’s “Happily Ever After” Must-Reads and Rainbow Award finalists. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s spending time with loved ones and doing anything possible to get out of grocery shopping and cooking.

Keep in Touch

Felice Stevens
I have always been a romantic at heart. I believe that while life is tough, there is always a happy ending around the corner, My characters have to work for it, however. Like life in NYC, nothing comes easy and that includes love, but getting there is oh so fun and oh so sexy.

I live in New York City with my husband and two children. My day begins with a lot of caffeine and ends with a glass (or two of red wine). I practice law but daydream of a time when I can sit by a beach somewhere and write beautiful stories of men falling in love. Although there are bound to be a few bumps along the way, a Happily Ever After is always guaranteed.

AE Via
A.E. Via has been a best-selling author in the beautiful gay romance genre for six years now, but she’s no stranger to MM. She’s been an avid reader of gay literature for over twenty years before she picked up her laptop to place her own kiss on this genre. She’s also the founder and owner of Via Star Wings Books, having published a couple great, new up and coming MM authors.

A.E. has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Virginia Wesleyan College that she used to start her own paralegal firm after she graduated in 2008. She spent five years preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions for struggling blue collar workers who couldn’t afford to file with a lawyer. It was a rewarding and satisfying career… but another path called to her.

Writing.

A.E.’s novels embodies everything from hopelessly romantic to adventure, to scandalous. Her stories often include intriguing edges and twists that take readers to new, thought-provoking depths.

She’s recently celebrated her 20th book anniversary, and is well-known for her hardcore, love hard, bad boy, alphas. However, she does like to push herself to step out of her comfort zone, exploring different tropes. She’s head over heels for gay romance and she has tons of more hot stories to tell.

Be sure to visit Adrienne on her social media pages and subscribe to her newsletter to never miss another release date! Go to A.E. Via’s official website for more detailed information on how to contact her, follow her, or a sneak peek at upcoming work, free reads, VSWB submissions, and where she’ll appear next.
