The diagnosis of a chronic stomach condition leaves thirty-two-year-old Sergeant Jed Cooper with little choice but to call time on his Army career. Blog Tour: The Wulf Chronicles by Wulf Francu Godgluck

Title: The Wulf Chronicles
Author: Wulf Francu Godgluck
Series: WulfChron #1
Genre: M/M Romance, Fantasy, Paranormal
Release Date: June 11, 2018
Cover Design: Kellie at Book Cover by Design
Summary:
What if werewolves were real?
What if one of them was different?
What if you were a defective werewolf?

This is not the story of how one night I got bitten and my life changed. Nor is it the story of how I went on a savage killing spree that left me tormented with guilt and dread the next morning.

No.

This is the story of a boy, a boy who’s spent his life running from the shadows of monsters. A boy who never understood why the world hated him with so much odium. Why his mother would throw away her only life to protect his. Why he was never allowed to have friends. Why he never had the childhood every child should. Why he was never allowed to cherish happiness.

This is the story of a boy becoming himself, embracing his vulnerability and learning to accept and love.

This is a story about a werewolf, trying to find the answers to why he was born defective.

And maybe that’s the very reason I become the main course on the menu.

A lycan’s sexual orientation was a completely nonproblematic topic. Most lycans, before meeting and knowing the gender of their mates, tended to be bisexual, however, there were the few cases, as with Leo, where a lycan knew beforehand what gender they were drawn to. And, luckily, the mating call was never cruel in that regard.

Contrary to how prejudice and discriminatory the Council and lycan community’s views on females were, homosexuality had never fazed the lycan race. It was part of their ancestry, as natural and accepting as bleeding.

“Go,”she growled at him, “before you shatter my stoic faΓ§ade and have me in tears. I’m honored to know this beautiful thing is happening in my presence.”

Leo smiled, turned, and ascended the stairs, his grin fading as he neared the bathroom the Beta occupied.

He clutched the doorknob, squeezing his eyelids and drawing in a shaky breath, willing himself to calm down.

The knob ripped from under Leo’s grasp as the door swung open, the momentum of Cooler’s movements and of Leo’s stumble at the abrupt occurrence, sent them colliding into each other.

Cooler grabbed Leo by the throat and shoved him against the bathroom wall, his one eye glowing a furious blue fire as he glared up at him.

“If the pretty puppy wanted a kiss, all he had to do was whimper.”

Leo swallowed against the clutched grip squeezing his windpipe, any response stuck in his throat. Cooler leaned in close, released Leo’s neck, and cupped the back of his head, pulling him down before sealing their lips together.

Fire screamed through him, heat gnawed to the tips of Leo’s fingertips and toes as Cooler wrenched open Leo’s lips with nip of his teeth, shoving his fat tongue into Leo’s mouth…

No one said a lycan claiming his mate was a pretty event.

The kiss that followed was a soft and gentle devastation of sweet hunger.

Cooler’s lips were pure lightning against Leo’s, every hair on his body pulsated to attention. His growl simmered through their mouths, giving Leo ample knowledge of how much power resided within his mate, the vibration, a thunder, rattled him to his soul.

He didn’t dare touch Cooler. Just because they were sucking lips, didn’t mean the Beta had accepted Leo as his.

Cooler pulled back, his eye a bone-chilling dark as he glared up into Leo’s gaze.

Fat fingers slid from behind Leo’s neck, mapping their way along his cheek to brush over his lips, only to catch him by the chin.

Leo closed his eyes, both needing and dreading the words about to spill from his mate.

But time stretched, and it stretched, and it stretched as he waited.

His lips moved involuntarily, quivering, ready to speak, but only a whimper undulated through him. Cooler grunted, halting Leo’s tongue and washing hot air up into Leo’s face, reminding him of how close the Beta’s lips were to his own.

His insides squirmed, anticipating, hoping and wanting Cooler to bless him with another taste.

No kiss came, no words either. Only the scent of his mate. A spicy, intoxicating, rugged musk. Prime Bloods tended to have a heavier, far more domineering scent than half-breeds. That and, of course, the raw power they emanated were the only physical truths that set them apart.

What is the biggest influence/interest that brought you to this genre?
My passion to create, and of course the constant annoying babble of voices in my mind. As for the genre, paranormal and supernaturalism has always fascinated me, but it goes deeper than just fiction.

Why do we have multiple words for werewolves, ghosts, witches, even vampires? Mostly in para and super fiction these are portrayed as one thing (a werewolf is a lycan and a lycan is a shifter), but are they truly all the same or just different species from one branch? Add in the lack of scientific and biological explanations one tend to not have in para and super fiction most of the time; I want to understand exactly how a werewolf transforms, how a vampire physiology changes during their siring, and how magic truly works in a said universe.

Most para and super fiction brush these things off to no, or a very limited explanation in books. I do understand that within a context of a story to some readers it can be boring, and there are other books that delve a little deeper into explaining these factors.

This is what drives me in writing para and super fiction, doing research and then to explain how these things can be possible within the limits of science, physics and biology. But I also have to present these facts with in a story that would entice the reader, hence where I bring in my fascination of psychology, which is both a strong driving point and motivator in my para and super fiction as well as my contemporary works. I love to make readers feel, make them taste the emotion of the charters on their tongue. Give them the broken hero who is actually the villain and show them even a villain can love, can be heartbroken, can be human. As for Queer fiction, being a gay man myself, it’s just natural that most of my characters would fall under one or more of the LGBTQ+ spectrums.

When writing a book, what is your favorite part of the creative process (outline, plot, character names, editing, etc)?
I never out line, it’s just something that does not work for me, I sit down and allow the characters to tell me their story. I know as much about them as the reader does when they first open a book. It’s the journey that I love, discovering who this character is, seeing their broken parts, descovring their darkness along the way as they guide me to through their story. But the strange part is, they always first tell me how their story ends before they begin. And sometimes they hijack the entre plot, which could be fun to a point.

I also love the editing, because it challenges me as a writer to dig deeper into my creativity, and as I always say if you are not learning something new from each manuscript you write, you are not growing as an author. There has not been a single edited manuscript I have received back where I haven’t learned something about writing.

When reading a book, what genre do you find most interesting/intriguing?
I read most anything, but give me something with an in-depth world building, something that cuts open the human psyche and shows me all the ways it can be explored. I also like to be thinking, questioning myself throughout a read of a book. I guess it has more to do with the content and context of a book than its genre, that said, I tend to lean more toward darker and complex stories, thrillers, mysteries and horror.

If you could co-author with any author, past or present, who would you choose?
Jex Lane, I do believe we could write some beautifully and painfully complex monster children together. She has a way with writing large scale battle scenes which I admire, and yet her stories are complex, her writing and conveying of information is not. I love that about her writing.

There’s also J.M. Dabney, she has a way of simplifying emotions, yet still keeping them so that they deliver a solid punch to the heart, were as I tend to over dramatizes and show emotions. I truly believe we could write a book baby that could be a killer of hearts.

Have you always wanted to write or did it come to you "later in life"?
It came later. I’ve always been a creative person, have these ideas for epic adventures, and journeys. As I got older and delved into digital comic art, I liked it, but didn’t love it. One night, while frustrated with my current WIP art work and bored, I picked up my first M/M book and it was like my own mini version of the big bang happening inside my mind. All these door started to open and the possibilities of how I could make the voices in my head be heard was there.  I had always loved reading but had never considered writing as medium to express my creativity.

Though I knew, English was not my first langue and as I had struggled with grammar and spelling and dyslexia through school, I knew this might pose a problem. But I never allowed it to stop or hold me back.

Author Bio:
They come to me in the night, creeping into my head. Their voices are all different, their stories all dissimilar, but they keep saying the same thing...
“Show us, tell us to the world. Bring us into yours, and make us known.”

Then I sit and they take over. They tell their tales of love, loss and sinister misfortune, not all of them get a happy ending, but they are pleased when their part is written.

I sometimes find myself lost in my own mind; a world very similar to our own yet so different. Things don't go bump in the night—they squeal, and crawl under your skin, making you grind your teeth, and your stomach turn over and put your nerves on edge. Then there's the drama. Oh, the drama!

I write because I must! There is so much inside of me that needs to get out. So many stories to tell, characters that want to be heard, and hearts lost and won. Words and art are my way of bringing my world to others. I enjoy telling tales of the human condition but working in elements of the supernatural. Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Witches and the unexplainable all set against the human world or worlds of their own.

Wulf FrancΓΊ Godgluck hails from South Africa. His work is not for the faint-hearted! In his books, you'll find... all the beasties with their nasty claws and teeth, and some you didn't even know existed. But the monsters aren't all real. Some live inside us. Who knows what he will make you discover about yourself, lurking in your heart, behind the closed walls of the deep, black recesses where no light penetrates? Wulf will steal your heart and never give it back. More than likely, he'll pin it to the wall with a bobby pin and sit there sipping his tea while you writhe and squeal on the floor... STILL sure you want to read a Wulf Godgluck book?

Sunday's Safe Word Shelf: Saving Sebastian by Luna David

Title: Saving Sebastian
Author: Luna David
Series: Custos Securities #3
Genre: M/M Romance, BDSM
Release Date: July 6, 2017
Cover Design: Kellie Dennis at Book Cover by Design
Summary:
Gideon McCade—weighed down by memories of his previous life as a Navy SEAL and a CIA agent—has blood on his hands. He turns to his BDSM club, Catharsis, and Dominating submissives to get him through the daily grind of civilian life. Knowing his past is too much to inflict on a life partner, he keeps his connections brief and superficial. When his former life comes back to haunt him, his desire for revenge pulls him back into the shadows, darkening his hopes for a future in the light.

Temporarily sidelining his career as a tattoo artist, Sebastian Phillips works as a composite artist for the local police department. To alleviate the inescapable burden of a congenital medical condition, he immerses himself in his art and seeks the catharsis of submission. But with life weighing heavily on his shoulders and darkness encroaching, he yearns for a contract with a Dominant that sees past the protective barriers he’s erected to the vulnerable submissive within.

When happenstance brings Gideon and Sebastian together, their connection is undeniable. The knowledge that they are both too damaged to form permanent bonds of love causes them to rely on an impersonal contract to fulfil their physical needs. But staying emotionally detached becomes impossible, and breaking their contract seems the only option. Will Gideon’s need for vengeance and Sebastian’s declining health destroy what’s grown between them, or will they help each other find their way back into the light?

He continued to give the kittens attention but kept his eyes on Sebastian. “You wearing a plug, boy?”

The blush pushed even more of his buttons and he smiled as his boy nodded and said, “Yes, Sir.”

Gideon, still squatting with the kittens, rested his elbows on his knees as he gazed up at his boy, grinning. “You look good enough to eat.”

Sebastian’s blush deepened and he turned his face away, avoiding eye contact. Gideon watched as an emotional wall came up, insulating his sub from any unwanted compliments he didn’t believe were genuine. He’d have to work on that.

“Speaking of eating. Have you had dinner?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Good. Come on into the kitchen, I’m gonna grab a beer and you can look through what I’ve got to see if you want anything.”

Sebastian followed him quietly and when Gideon pulled a beer from his fridge, he left it open for Sebastian to look through. He saw a spark of interest and then a sideways glance at Gideon before he shrugged and said, “I’ll just take water.”

“Nope.”

That brought Sebastian’s focus directly on him. His eyebrows reaching toward his hairline. “Pardon?”

Gideon grinned at his boy’s proper response and used the neck of his beer bottle to point at the fridge. “You saw something that interested you in there. Go ahead.”

A blush crept up the boy’s neck to his cheeks and Gideon smiled wider, wondering what on earth could garner that much embarrassment from his refrigerator. He frowned when Sebastian insisted that water was what he wanted. That wouldn’t do at all.

Setting his beer down he lifted Sebastian up and sat him on the countertop, and watched as the boy wiggled to get his plug-ladened ass comfortable. He smiled and wedged himself between the boy’s legs. Watching his eyes dilate when he wrapped both of his legs around his waist like he’d done the night before sent a little thrill through Gideon. He loved how Sebastian responded to him.

He leaned in and trailed soft kisses up Sebastian’s neck, smiling when he felt his whole body shiver. Kissing his way to his ear he whispered, “What’s got you blushing in my fridge? Hmm?”

Before Sebastian could respond Gideon kissed his lips and pulled back. “We’re not gonna move from this spot until you tell me. I’m a very patient man, Sebastian.”

Sebastian huffed, blushing again. “You’ll laugh.”

Gideon laughed. Guilty as charged. And reveled in the fact that Sebastian felt comfortable enough to shove him away playfully.

“See? I told you, you’d laugh!”

“You haven’t even told me what you want yet!”

“Well, I’m not gonna tell you now!”

Gideon snuck back in between the boy’s legs and tested a theory from a response he’d gotten the night before, digging his thumb lightly into Sebastian’s ribs. When the boy squeaked, and tried to shove him away again, he dug his fingers into Sebastian’s other side until he was squirming and trying desperately to get away from those tickling digits.

“CHOCOLATE MILK!”

Gideon stopped his torture in complete surprise. A laugh escaping before he could stop it. “What?”

Sebastian’s mouth dropped open at his audacity. “See?! You laughed!”

Gideon gripped the edge of the counter, leaning into Sebastian, the top of his head resting on Sebastian’s shoulder, hiding his face as he kept laughing. “I’m not! Really. I’m not.”

Sebastian gasped and tried to shove him away. “You so are!”

He shook his head and cleared his throat, finding himself completely surprised, pleasantly so, that he was having so much fun. When was the last time he’d had fun like that? His expression serious, he gazed into Sebastian’s eyes, his own twinkling with mirth. “I’m not. I promise. This is serious. Chocolate milk is serious business. Hang on.”

He went about getting out a long ice cream spoon and the largest glass he could find. He filled it with milk and got the chocolate syrup out of the door of his fridge and proceeded to brandish it high above the milk glass, squeezing a ridiculous amount of chocolate into the glass with a flourish.

Setting the syrup down, he held up the spoon to be examined by Sebastian, who was now crossing his arms over his chest, eyes narrowed, doing his level best not to laugh. When he nodded, Gideon proceeded to take said spoon and stir in the chocolate, the milk changing color gradually until it was as dark as he could probably get it.

When Sebastian moved to pick it up, Gideon held up his finger and turned to a drawer. Back a second later, he was brandishing a plastic, bright blue, loopy straw with a penis as the tip and Sebastian lost the fight and finally let loose his laughter. When Gideon handed him the huge glass of chocolate milk he took it with greedy hands and started drinking from the penis with outrageously exaggerated enjoyment, making Gideon laugh again.

When he finally stopped drinking, the glass was half empty and Sebastian smacked his lips. “Ahh! Sooo good! Thank you, Sir.”

Completely charmed, and thoroughly enjoying himself, Gideon replied, “You’re welcome. I’ll keep it stocked for you.”

Sebastian tried his best to look stern. “See that you do.”

They grinned at each other a few more seconds and Gideon remembered the box of pastries his brother had given him earlier. He snagged them from the counter and opened them, watching as Sebastian’s eyes widened comically and he reached in the box, but then yanked his hand back out, looking up at Gideon. “May I, Sir?”

He smiled gently and nodded, loving hearing Sebastian call him Sir. “Please. That’s why I opened the box. Braden made them.”

They snacked on the sugary confections quietly for several minutes and Sebastian took another long drink from his glass and then looked at him seriously. “Um, Sir?”

Gideon smirked. “Yeah?”

Sebastian looked down at his drink and then back up again, grinning. “Don’t think I’m gonna let it slide that you have an electric blue, loopy penis straw in your kitchen.”

Gideon threw his head back and laughed. “Well, see. . . There was this party. . .”

“Uh huh, sure. I’ve heard it all before!”

“You’ve heard a story about an electric blue, loopy penis straw party favor before?”

“Who hasn’t?”

“I’m gonna go out on a limb and say, probably most people.”

#2(NSFW)
His relief fled upon seeing Sexual Intercourse emblazoned across the top of the next page. Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but it felt like that.

There were two boxes. The first of which stated: No sexual intercourse will occur between the two parties. The second of which stated: Sexual intercourse will occur between the two parties, and then further outlined possibilities for limits or stipulations regarding said sexual intercourse.

He cleared his throat. Wanting Gideon to know he had no expectations and didn’t assume the man wanted him like that, he spoke up, “We can check the first box, Sir.”

He watched Gideon’s reaction closely and confusion set in when the man didn’t react at all, besides staring at him quietly. He felt like he had to explain himself. “Um, I just mean that I’m not expecting anything. I understand if that’s not what you want from our arrangement.” When Gideon’s eyes narrowed, he realized what he’d omitted. “Sir.”

He looked down at his lap and distracted himself with petting Slap and Tickle, and scratching them behind their ears. He jumped in surprise when Gideon growled out, “Put the kittens on the floor.”

Sebastian’s eyes popped wide and he did as instructed. No sooner were the kittens on the floor than he was yanked down the length of the couch by his ankle until he was lying flat and Gideon was lying on top of him. They were face to face and Sebastian’s heart was racing, his breath coming in pants. Holy fuck, how had Gideon managed that maneuver? And was Sebastian crazy to think that was the hottest thing he’d ever experienced?

Gideon loomed over Sebastian, gently clasping Sebastian’s left leg around the calf and wrapped it around his upper thigh and did the same to Sebastian’s right leg. Sebastian couldn’t help it, he tugged Gideon even closer and crossed his ankles over Gideon’s ass. Heat flared in Gideon’s eyes and Sebastian began to rethink his offer of checking the first box.

Gideon wedged an arm under Sebastian’s back, tugging his shirt up in the process, gripping his neck. They were a hairsbreadth apart, their eyes locked on each other, Gideon’s aquamarine gaze was intense. If Sebastian didn’t get his breathing under control, he was going to pass out.

His mind shut down when Gideon’s hips began a slow undulation.

“What do you feel, boy?” Gideon’s hips rolled into his once again, making Sebastian gasp and grind his own hard cock against Gideon’s. “Answer me.”

“Your cock, Sir.”

“Does it feel good?”

Sebastian’s yes, was more an exhalation than a fully formed answer. He closed his eyes when those magical hips undulated against his again.

“Who’s it hard for?”

Sebastian’s eyes popped open, meeting Gideon’s. Unable to answer, all he could do was gasp in another breath and pray he didn’t embarrass himself by coming in his jeans.

“Who’s it hard for, boy?”

“M-me, Sir?”

“Say it again. Who’s it hard for, Sebastian?”

“Me, Sir.”

“That’s right, you. There is nothing I want more than to sink myself fully into your tight little hole. I want you, every inch of you, Sebastian. Don’t doubt it.”

Sebastian’s eyes rolled back in his head when he heard the growly whisper in his ear. He began to rub up against Gideon faster, unable to stop himself. He used the leverage of his ankles, still locked together at Gideon’s ass, to rub his hard dick against the Dom’s.

“You like that? You gonna come for me, Bastian?”

Dear god, more whispering. He’d never been called Bastian before, but suddenly he never wanted to be called anything but Bastian by the man. Well, that and boy, because that pushed his buttons too.

“That’s it, boy. Take what you need from me. Mmm, goddamn those hips can move.”

Sebastian couldn’t stop the whimper if he tried.

“Can they move that fast while you’re riding my fat cock?”

Jesus, the man would be the death of him.

“We’re gonna find out, aren’t we, boy?”

When he could no longer control his movements, he cried out, “Sir, please?”

Gideon bit down on his earlobe and growled, “Come for your Dom, boy.”

White lights flashed behind his eyelids and the longest orgasm he could ever remember having had him convulsing as volley after volley of cum shot out of his cock into his pants, leaving him limp and panting. His gasping breaths eased, his heart rate slowed, and the orgasm haze had him nearly asleep, the only thing keeping him awake was the weight of his Dom on top of him.

As the minutes ticked by, he grew embarrassed, not wanting to open his eyes and face the man that had just brought him more pleasure than he’d had in longer than he cared to admit without even touching his dick. He didn’t even know why he was feeling so self-conscious, or rather, didn’t want to admit it was because he’d come so quickly and in his own jeans. For fuck’s sake.

“Open your eyes.”

When he did, his Dom’s eyes were crinkled at the sides, his smile one of contentment and satisfaction. “Thank you, Sir.”

His blush bloomed fast and he cast his eyes down to Gideon’s lips. Lips that lowered and took his before he even had time to take a breath. Before he could contemplate that this was their first kiss, it was over, like it had never been. He glanced up into Gideon’s eyes again and smiled, shyly.

“You’re welcome.”

“Can…can I return the favor, Sir?”

Gideon slowly extricated himself from the grip of Sebastian’s legs and sat down on the couch by his feet, facing him. Pulling both of Sebastian’s feet onto his lap. “No, we still have a few things to discuss.”

Release Day Blitz: Dominique: Knights to Remember by Nicole Colville

Title: Dominique
Author: Nicole Colville
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 23, 2015
Model: David Lurs
Photographer: Sasha Kosmos
Cover Design: Kellie Dennis from Book Cover by Design
Summary:
What does it cost to sell yourself? Your body? Your heart? Your soul?

At eighteen, with no job, no money, and a young sister to care for, becoming an escort seemed the perfect answer, but by the age of twenty four, Dominque is left wondering how he can break free of his ‘short term’ solution.

Jacob is at the top of his profession, leaving him with no time or desire for a relationship. Caring for another person full time isn’t on his agenda, but that soon changes when fate steps in and offers him the chance of something more.

Unable to forget the intriguing brunette after their first date, Jacob is enticed to spend more time with Dominque, seeking to put the pain of the past behind them, and bring peace to the wounded bird who captivated him so easily.

It’s not just the clients who pay

Jacob pressed his face into the messy tumble of hair in front of him, smelling the unique sensual scent of Dominque, trying to ignore the need inside him to pull him backwards and cage him in his arms while he ground his cock into those firm cheeks.

“Jacob.” Dominque’s silken voice purred into the otherwise silent room.

“Dominque.” Jacob smiled.

“I missed you last night.”

Jacob moved closer, draping an arm over Dominque’s stomach and splaying his fingers out over the taut, smooth flesh beneath them. “Well, that makes being apart from you much more bearable. To be missed by you, to know you lay here thinking of me, wanting me to be with you, it makes the unpleasant act of not being beside you more tolerable.”

He placed a soft, barely there kiss on the flawlessly smooth flesh found just under Dominque’s ear. “Would it make you happy if I told you all I could think about was you, about returning to this room and taking you into my arms, holding you while I kissed every inch of this marvellous body of yours until you were lying limp and breathless in my arms, unable to voice how much you needed me to stop?”

He placed a deeper kiss in the same spot, this time licking the sweet skin before continuing. “How every breath I took was wasted because you weren’t there to share it. How every beat of my heart only reminded me how useless it was to continue without having you beside me.”

“Jacob…” Dominque glanced over his shoulder, heavy lids half covering the seductive wide brown eyes beneath them, black lashes curling, tickling his skin as he blinked, centering his alluring gaze on Jacob. “You're making it difficult to keep to our no sex rule.”

“I’ll think you'll find—” He placed an open-mouthed kiss to the same spot under Dominque’s ear. “—it’s you who is making things very hard to ignore that particular rule.” His cock was rigid and aching, pulsing against Dominque’s cheeks. “I hurt I want you that much. It physically pains me to be this close to you and not have you.”

“Then take me,” Dominque breathed out. “Please. I want you too, Jacob.” He pressed backwards, rocking onto Jacob’s cock, making him groan deep and long against his supple skin.
